Perhaps root around for shorter screws that would fit the handle?? Or use a reinforced tie handle? Matching ribbon to the Doll stays or Leather strap? Or a covered wire hair noodle with a longer covered replacement wire threaded through the inside and reinforced with washers so the wire doesn’t chew up the cardboard. All screws thread in the same direction. So they're interchangeable as long as the length is correct and the diameter matches....

Of course everybody’s giving you advice because you asked on improving the case, but girl, I’m telling you the presentation is the bomb 💣!!!! anything can be improved, but still, you are amazing, you know what they make new cars sometime you got to get the kinks out, but the creator is amazing! So even though they may be a little kink because of the screws 🔩 issues!! Just like the Tesla car, they had to work out 🏋️ quite a few issues, but still the car is very expensive. People are still buying it because the concept is amazing , I said all that to say you’re brilliant and we know that’s why we’re using your information and that’s why your channel is very explosive and your successful! so thank you young lady. Funny, but back in the day, people who needed a suitcase and couldn't afford good quality bought cardboard suitcases. So they were a thing....

The easiest thing to do, is cutting the point of the screw before putting them in place, measuring the excess
i don’t have the device to cut a screw, so well maybe next time i’ll do it
