That's something every child needs, i mean the care and understanding from parents this is needed, but we all don't get the luck. yah our parents love us so much and all the things they do is for our good sake, But that's not always the case. They think they are doing good for us and our happiness but not everything turns out well for us, like forcing us to do that we didn't want to do, separate us from the thing/person we love, care and happiness with it and forcefully attach us to another thing/person we didn't know or don't like. Crashing our dreams under their society and so called status, Yah they do this because they think that we will be happy but it doesn't work. I am not saying that we need parents like taekook but I am saying that we need the cear, support and understanding from our parents. AND WE DESERVE THAT
Yes actually I have seen a lot of those things but in some cases the parents are right. The person whom they chose are right sometimes while the person their child chooses is wrong but STILL it's just few cases. Parents should let their child make a decision, they should respect their child's decision and support their decision. A child just needs their love and support, nothing more. When choosing a career as well, Asian parents are very strict with the 'lawyer' 'doctor' 'engineer' 'IT specialist' 'government officer' bla bla bla, while the thing they should be doing is supporting their child's dream. Some parents never listen to their kids and want their kids to do whatever they want, otherwise they are being rebellious. I'm glad my parents never pressurised me about the grades but still the career thing, I wanted to study 'Film studies' , wanted to be a director and a writer but I'm studying BBA. I get my parents in this thing though, the film industry is a big mess. They are worried and I can see that. If I had said that 'I can do this, give me a chance' they would have let me but I couldn't say those words. I'm a coward and I will never blame them but myself.
