Im surprised you didn't mention Wargame which is also a Eugen 'cold war gone hot' title and this seems to be a much more direct spiritual successor to that than Steel divison
no duh because steel division wasn't intended to be one, it has a completely different setting and has different gameplay mechanics. Fundamentally they are a Eugen wargame but Steel Division was clearly trying to be different
@@funnymancool8549 Im not sure what the 'duh' was for. Im saying this video compared warno to SD2 without ever mentioning wargame which is the audience that the game appeals more to in my opinion.
the sad part about having a shitty name "Warno" is that Warno stands for "Warning Order" which is an infinitely better name for a video game than 'Warno'.
the name is for sure centred towards the hobbyists that want a game like this and understand the lingo rather than general public, I've never read it as "War-no" till this review. WARN-O is an actual NATO term like FRAG-O. idk i liked the name i read it and immediately understood what audience the devs are catering to
Loved Red Dragon and somehow completely missed this until release of 1.0, love the new QoL improvements like an actual tutorial and visual LoS for your units so you don't have to guess what your blokes can see only to get sniped by an armoured division because there was a tree in the way of your recon unit that you couldn't see from 3000 ft in the air
@tog2842 I think you can be sweaty even with good hygiene. I think it has more to do with how intense the gameplay is. It's not necessarily relaxing, it's intense to the point that you might start to sweat because of it. But like I said, I think it might not necessarily mean that you start sweating.
This is a game that I really want to play. I will buy it, maybe even within few weeks... who knows... (shame list can wait, right?). And Im pretty sure I will totally suck in this game. Just as I always did in Steel Div. SD is one of very, very few strategic games that remained beyond my level of understanding... and to be honest, I dont even know why. Just, somehow, game demanded very particular skills, reactions, tactics ect that I couldnt deliver, and being a veteran of computer games - including strategic games - I consider this as a shame. So... now I will be ashamed by Warno, because why not? ;-P

@@alexmcmillan9595 NATO is a bunch of dorks. Warning Order sounds better.
@@alexmcmillan9595 No its objectively a bad name for a game 😂. There is basically no difference between WARN-O and warno when talking anyways.
And it's not even Warno. It's WNGO
Found a Porno fan💀

Just got the game three days ago, with it being the very first Eugen game for me, and I have to say, that the Tutorials did a really good job.
Game is utterly brilliant and they ran the EA with absolute class. Big up to these devs
Warno read WARNING ORDER makes real good sense.
Great video! Also Risk of Rain 2 soundtrack! :o For a second I thought I had my game open
Ive only played wargame red dragon would highly reccommend that
but you cant hold c to see line of sights
What is sweaty person?
Tryhard. They are sweaty because they sweat trying to minmax everything while playing.
@@neurofiedyamato8763 Ah I see, someone who is obsessed and dedicated to the game at the expense of personal hygiene?
@@tog2842 that is one way of describing those people.

the name of this game is the same as the name of my friend's father
Hahaha. I'm glad we agree in the cringe name. I am one who knows.
warno = no war
