Hello everyone, no livestream today. I know that I said that I was going to hold a live stream on Saturdays now but I'm watching my daughter in the stage play Amadeus. She's playing Constanza. See you next week! Here is a short video for you talking about live music. Thank you for your support! Hal
It's not for everyone of course, but there's a lot of live music at bars and other venues (a neighborhood pizza place has live music 3-4 times/week). Just tonight we went to another place for the first time to see a friend's band (I'd only seen him sit in for a couple of songs with other bands). Terrible beer selection, but really good music and on a Sunday night. People were really into it, too. The DJ thing never did for me either, though I remember one DJ who read the room and she played some really good stuff. It's not every DJ who has Hank Ballard on their hard drives.
Just an observation. We like live music. Just not a concert when the occasion is really calling for background music. Also, excessive volume has caused us to leave venues, including receptions and worship.

No problem Hal. Family is more important. Wishing your daughter a great performance.
