@@crackshipsarelife It would have been a great piece of character development. Draco was heavily influenced by his father, always trying to prove himself to him. It’s normal for a child to adopt their parents believes and world views and it’s not like he had a lot of good influence in his life to make up for it. Rowling missed a big chance there, she could have done so much more with his character as he grew up.
