I firmly believe in the power of testimony. Every testimony in Christ is a beautiful story of hope as Christ works in our lives. The Lord doesn't call the equipped, he equips those he calls. The awesome part is getting to speak life into others about the things he has brought each us through.
As they say, if you've never been tested you'd never have a testimony. Sometimes we have to go through the mess to get the message, and at times a breakdown is the very thing that leads to a breakthrough.
Thank you Jesus for being patient with us as we fumble our way through life under our own strength. You alone are faithful to save. Someone once told me we have to establish our identity in Christ before he will establish our significance. We are all given beautiful spiritual gifts. Anderson, you’re so brave for sharing your story! You can just see it in people, when they carry The Holy Spirit with them.I see it in you. I loved how you said “getting into the word, until the word gets in you” so beautiful! They say there is no wrong way to pray, it’s just speaking to God..However, I feel there are dire situations when certain prayer with scripture is needed, and I too so badly want to be able to pray that way too. So I’m doing my best to learn from My Best Friend, The love of my life, Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ!
I wanted to share something I experienced & how I truly understand how much courage it took, to share your testimony. I lost my dad in 2013. It flipped my world upside down..as well as my kids father. He turned into a really bad alcoholic & i believe other things too. One night he was hallucinating & I woke up to him taking the blankets off of me yelling at me that he saw I was on the phone but pretending to be asleep. I couldn’t take it anymore & told him I was done. And I wanted him to leave. It spiraled out of control quickly. He went outside & I heard a gun shot. I ran outside & asked what he was doing. He said nothing & that he was gonna leave. He was gonna get into his vehicle & I instantly felt I needed 911. He started threatening suicide. I was in between the 911 operator & him. The operator is telling me to go inside the house bc I’m in danger (which I didn’t even think about or worry about, my concern was him) he’s telling me if I don’t hang up, he’s gonna do it. Eventually he gets me to hang up, wanting to call his mom & brother. Usually he would do that, so they could come get him. But he didn’t, he told me he was calling them to tell them, I was the reason they were gonna burry him. He got out of his vehicle & I was chasing him around the yard trying to get the gun. He hopped onto in area that I couldn’t get on. (From the 911 call to that moment it had been 20/30 minutes.) We could hear the engines of the cop cars zooming to our road. He put the gun to his head & pulled the trigger. For time sake, a longer story short - It’s Gods decision, not his! He survived missing his brain by 2cm.but he had no lasting physical effects. But It left me with severe PTSD. Unfortunately, life got even harder..in every aspect. My own health declined, I had my own close calls from medical emergencies..always in & out of the hospital. Oxygen at 32. It’s been rough.
Today it’s still hard, I’m a single mom of now, 2 teenagers. My health improved for awhile, but isn’t so good now..but the difference is, My Best Friend, is Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ! Life is hard & we go through some tough things. Some of us go thru things,that others only see in bad movies. But I’ve learned, those things only make us stronger! and if God sees fit, uses it to help others!

Wow just read this. I just had a bad day and was crying and then stumbled on this, and am praying for you. Jesus is our Hope and our Joy. The Joy of the Lord truly is our strength. This human existence is very intense and this walk with the Lord takes endurance. I just called on God to give me the grace to put my feelings under and be grateful for Jesus! The Lord is with you and me and that ex boyfriend you had. Praying for you! To be covered in the blood of Jesus and surrounded by a wall of fire

Back in my early 20’s, I stayed depressed. Rough childhood involving molestation and rape when I was a teenager. One drug leading to another. Bad group of “friends”. I wanted to die. The depth of despair that I felt, truly had no words. I remember crying on the floor alone one night and just begging God and telling him I wanted to die and didn’t wanna be here anymore.
Something happened that goes beyond any explanation, but I’ll do my best. I had my eyes closed so I couldn’t see, and in this moment I felt like I needed to keep them shut because it wasn’t meant for me to see, but to feel. It felt like a hand touched my shoulder. And I will NEVER forget this feeling, but the wave of peace and love that was injected into my soul and body, that’s the only way I can think to describe it. In that moment my sadness was lifted. The burden was taken off. I was shown and felt so much love and care. I was at a loss for words because I knew what I had just experienced was a supernatural miracle. If that had not happen to me, I don’t know if I would have believed that something like that could happen. And I don’t know what would have happened to me.
That was over 15 years ago and I remember everything about that moment. It was a beautiful gift given to me and I will never forget it. Even today when I get sad and upset, I now know that there truly is something bigger than me that loves me. God truly does care for all his children.
Yup I had spinal head after they got a wet tap with my son. I also was not raised in a Christian home. I was taught about God but not biblical and fully. We didn’t go to church. So, I am breaking generational strongholds! Planting the seed of Jesus on my children. Hallelujah! My sons are and will be mighty men of God, all for the glory of God!!!!
Powerful and timely testimony! I have grandchildren in active addictions. 2 of them I adopted and raised as my own. I know God is faithful and is hearing my prayers, I’m waiting on my grandchildren to receive and be healed and saved. I always share the testimonies I think they could relate to, this is one I’ll share with them. Thank you for your obedience, please help me pray for them. Albert, Veronica, Monica, Angel 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

May He give them healing, peace of mind and the enduring strength that by their faith empowers them to move forward from their addictions. Jesus we thank you for the work you are already doing in their lives and I pray for the power of their own testimonies when they have come through the other side of any and all addictions they may be dealing with in this life.

What a powerful testimony. God is SO good. Before Jesus came and saved me, the enemy took over my life. My life was turned upside down when I found God. It's crazy how the enemy can make you feel so weak but when God intervenes he has the power to make you feel SO loved and valuable. Night and day. Praise our Lord Jesus! God bless all of you.

This is such a profound testimony.. I wonder how many people didn’t make it and experienced a demonic led suicide. I wonder about my cousin who hung herself 20 years ago and left all of us brokenhearted.💔 Is she in hell? These are the tormenting questions that go through my mind.
I miss her terribly. I can’t believe it’s been 20 years, as it feels like yesterday.

maybe our wonderful loving Father wants to help you heal from that wound and be free of torment, I know from my own experience that my unforgiveness brought a lot of mental/emotional/spiritual torment, but I'm now in a season of healing, it's not too pleasant as feeling, but it's freeing and faith growing ... love & peace from Romania, in Lord Jesus' name amen
I pray the peace that surpasses all understanding over you. May the Lord give you his supernatural peace of mind every day. He keeps the mind in perfect peace that is stayed on him. I know the enemy attacks our minds and many people suffer from depression and suicide. Praise the Lord that He is faithful to save and His mercies are new everyday.
there is no hell yet..she is dead ..her spirit is with God. On judgement day we will all be judged. The dead with be made alive again to receive their award whether life or death. Who knows maybe in her final moments she received forgiveness. Live in peace as a merciful God will not have people burning forever in a hell somewhere. Also when hell does happen sinners will be destroyed by fire yes but it wont be a permanent hell. The earth will be made new.
The Lord is faithful. In our weakness His strength is made perfect. Even if we find that weakness in the very shadow of death. Bless the Lord forever.💯

Glory to God. I thank God for this testimony. I thank God for you my brother in Christ. Pray together with me as I am struggling with suicidal thoughts, pain , hurt, rejection and stagnation in all areas of my life. I’m in the middle of my PhD studies and have been denied to continue. The cause of the delays in my studies is due to all I have been going through, including rehabilitation etc. For some reason it is evident that someone out there does not want me to complete and earn my PhD😭😭I trust in God .
I pray for the profound move of Jesus in your life. That he'd meet you right where you are and offer you all of the healing, peace and joy that you could. Never forget that a delay is not a denial in our faith what with the Lord. God is good and he is faithful to save. His mercies are new everyday, and you are still so very very blessed. I pray that he'd open any required doors and give you the provision and time to finish your PhD. May Jesus mightily and righteously bless you. As children of God we aren't just called to obey our Father in Heaven. We are called to obey our earthly parents too. Our parents have been placed as our guides, our teachers, and the people we are to submit to.
Parents have the responsibility of raising their children up in the right way - which is the way of the Lord. One way that we express our love of God is in obeying our parents and respecting them.
This can be a little tricky if you are a believer and your parents are not. In such circumstances respect them and still love them. You do not need to treat them harshly or coldly. How will they be ministered to if you are antagonistic towards them? In such circumstance you have to be weary of what you choose to listen to and what you do not listen to. If any of their instructions are not of God, lovingly decline. Just because you and your parents have a difference in beliefs, it does not mean that you need to cut them from your life.
All of us need good role models. As Christians, we are wise to look to those who walk with the Lord and learn from them. The reckless and the proud invite trouble and discord on themselves and those around them. But the Godly will be evidenced by their results. Where we see peace and goodwill flourish, that is where we find faithful Christian role models to observe and learn from.
