Diluc on drums and Heizou on acoustic are the most canon things I’ve ever seen
This could be quite common fan work, but you paid attention to hands movements, synchronized its with music and make it realistic! This is great job, great music clip! My respect!!!

Coming from a violinist, I love the animation. This is the first time I've seen someone get the movements of the musicians correct. Allow me to elaborate:
At the beginning of the piece, the strings do a harmonic, which is done greatly here. I like how the violinists have their fingers up the fingerboard, and the fingers are more spread out, which is how it should be done. Next, there's short staccatos which is also done correctly. I really like the small details of Yanfei's left hand doing vibrato, which lines up with what I hear in the audio. The fingerings are pretty good, I like how some of them are in either 3rd or 4th position, they move enough to give off a good impression. One thing I do question though would be why everyone seems to be doing a baroque bow hold, as it should be held lower with the pinky right at the bottom. However the cellos seem to be missing, but you saved yourself with the animation, so I'll preume that there are violists here.
As for the winds, erhu, the Chinese looking flute (sorry idk the name), marimba, and all the other instruments seen here, I cannot say for sure, but I like how Kazuha and Xiao's hand motions seem to line up somewhat. Yunjin's left hand shifts every time there's a change in notes, which looks convincing. I'll cut you some slack on the piano, marimba, and drums, because I'm sure that's an animation limitation, but I like how the guitar is animated right.
Overall, 8.5/10 for musically accurate animation. I hope there'll be more orchestral MMDs with this fidelity.

@@jonatan0_0 also zhongli's conducting is a bit robotic, striding the line between marching band and dynamic orchestral conducting, but then again, it's an animation limitation. Still great though.

XDDDD Kid, you're not the judge of someone's work xD Not to mention you know nothing about animating, so you can say nothing, lol. Like, who do you even think you are? xd 8.5 is clearly your age xD
Unfortunately for the erhu, the only thing Yun Jin would be doing is crunching. The bow rests on TOP of the soundbox, not in front of it like a cello. Also the bow hold is a bit questionable, there is too much shifting (I count 3, maybe 4 shifts for that passage?) and the left hand forearm and wrist should be angled more perpendicular to the instrument. If we're getting nitpicky, I think Yun Jin is also in fourth position when she should be in first and third, but the qianjin and pegs aren't shown in the video so I'll let that slide.
HOWEVER. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE ANIMATION IS BAD. If I did not play erhu I would not have suspected a thing. All the other instruments as far as I can tell are accurate and the piano and violins make me especially happy! It's a great video with rare attention to detail ❤
For those who long for reunion of families and companions, like Itto, Diluc and Neuvillette; this is a huge blessing. Great job to all who made this vid happen.

This looks absolutely majestical, all the characters together in one scene, the way they play the instruments, its like genshin brought to life! It's beautiful!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this beautiful project, it was really touching. Although I've heard this soundtrack many times before, this video still made me feel shivers down my spine. As a side note, I'm happy to see my underrated babies Heizou, Collei and the traveler here as well!

A detail ive noticed is the eyes actually look like eyes. In most animations i see, i feel like theyre a lil bit far apart and in this animation theyre kinda close to each other which makes it feel like theyre actually looking at something

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one crying, it makes me happy to see that, amidst the yearly complaining and pure trolling and negativity, there's still so many actual fans here, that just want to enjoy their time, enjoying what's near and dear to them.
Genshin became a big part of my daily routine when it launched, played daily ever since, only took 1 break during the first half of 1.4. I've met some of my best friends through Genshin streams and co-op. I owe so much to this experience. People ask me how I justify the money I spend on banners as a small whale, and all I can say is, every moment I spend, playing with friends, theorizing about next story chapters, reading the lore, testing my character builds, is worth it's weight in gold.
Great stuff! I must know, did you create this inspired by the official Genshin Orchestra short that was released earlier this year, or was this commissioned by Mihoyo in conjunction with that trailer? Either way, fantastic work!
It's so musically accurate! Although the part where Ningguang plays, I might be hearing it wrong, but it sounds more like a guzheng to me than a pipa.

One of the things I love about this is the attension to the elemental detail. By giving the Anemo characters wind instruments. Nice touch.

I haven't played Genshin since Inazuma. But this brings back the magic and nostalgia of Launch day & the next year of pure joy, discovery, and experiencing a beautiful, incredible world built with love and passion from the Devs... And meeting all the characters in it... Doing the events like dragonspine/chalk prince, windbloom, the first 2 lantern rites, and all up until I finished Inazuma and real life took me away from Teyvat.
One day I will reinstall Genshin and binge my way through the remainder of the story, just to experience the rest of the world I spent 2000+ hours in in the first 2 years... I got EVERY character up until that point I stopped playing and spent thousands of dollars to support a company I love because I'm also a Honkai 3rd player. I will experience The Traveller's story in full by Genshin's ending, like I did with Kiana's in Honkai. I love mihoyo and I love the community that creates grand works of passion like this.
I first found this video from an ad, and I was gonna skip it at first, but when I realized that it was probably from hoyofar, I decided to give it a shot. And I don’t regret it because oh my god, this video is amazing!! The animation is SO GOOD, and this song makes me very emotional! So glad I’ve finally found this video! Literally everytime this pops up, I just have to watch to the end, and in the process I forget what I was even watching about haha.
