I only recently subscribed but since I moved into the college apartments and can only have a 20 gallon aquarium max I have been watching your channel much more often. While I no longer get to care for a multitude of reef fish I can still stay informed and feed my obsession 😝
Nice! I just got a pair Blood Spot Anthias this week. They are huge even the female. They still hiding behind the rock slowly get used to their new home.
Why is the care level moderate? I had 2 lyretail and one was a picky eater but one loved pellets and ate like crazy! is that the reason is feeding? I also dont get why they need such a large tank! I had mine in a 36 gallon and seemed fine. I lost one when my Ac broke for 1 day and tank got a little warm, other fish did fine and only lost a scoly and a fathead dendro between 2 tanks. It was only out for less then a day Thank God!
Jeff, good luck with the store! I’m sure you looked carefully at your demographics and that there are enough fish keepers in the Maine area. One tank you should consider is at least a 40-60 gallon Maine coastal aquarium. Stock it with whatever you can find. 👍🏻
Love my sunburst! Although it only eats frozen I have tried and tried to get it to take pellets, but I guess it thinks it too fancy and wants that prime rib mysis shrimp.
@Mad Hatter's Reef Hey bud a sorry to bother you but am new to the hobby and am wanting to know if the Red Sea reef energy plus ab+ will cause nitrate spikes or will it affect nothing other than helping the corals thanks
I would have put barlet anthias in the list. I have 5 of them in my 90g and there is zero agression. I have Never lost any of them and the are beutiful in my opinion. They also donˋt Need That much food. A perfect beginner anthia. My 4 Tuka antias all died after 1 Mount. I still donˋt know why. I wouldnˋt recomend these. I really like your videos👍
i dont see how princess made your list yet you completely missed the Carberryi, which is probably easier to get to eat then randal's and wont kill each other off like lyre's will.
Jeff, I used to really enjoy your videos and podcasts but the nonstop Top 10’s with the same repetitive info for each type of fish is just not the same quality of content you used to create. Please don’t take this personally as it is intended to be constructive criticism.

Lyretails are so gorgeous I love my 6 so active great eaters.
I’ve heard the anthia feeding schedule issue is overblown and you can just do twice a day without any issues
Thoughts?
I feed them once a day without issue.

It's a top ten list. I get it. But I'm surprised that neither Bartlett or Dispar didn't make the cut?
