I picked up a Mavrick that someone else ordered and canceled, too. What I really wanted was one with the 4K tow package in Alto Blue, but no dealership would place the order. I got an Ecoboost, Luxury package, moon roof, drop-in bedliner, cubby on one side, power receptacle with bed light on the other side. Bunch of extras that I didn't want. I'm replacing the power receptacle and light with a regular cubby and installing light strips along the bed.
I'm most likely ordering a 2024 hybrid once orders open up again. I don't care if the wait is a year and a half. I don't NEED a new truck just yet and it gives me more time to save more cash to pay down on it. I actually just want to keep my old 2001 f150 instead of my original plan to sell it. I've kept it in too good of condition and she's never had any major failures ♥️
I hear you. I got his paid for in cash from an old 401k that had to be cashes out since my previous company was acquired and the new company was a non profit. It was just funny when I told the dealer I am paying cash. They tried to get me to finance but I said no. Her is a bank certified check.
Seems this dealer either followed what the customer ask which was not to cut it because they didn't care about the cubby and bed light. Or they were just lazy my thoughts is it was the first.
Nice truck brother! I too am on LI but still waiting. Question did you pay dealer markup? Seems like the ones customers are not picking up, dealers are automatically marking up! Cant wait to see how it holds up in the winter with FWD💪🏽💪🏽
All hybrid models are going over msrp since again Ford could not source enough materials for the batteries paid a pretty fait price with all the options. About 3k over. Again remember a hybrid in the northeast is very hard to get.

weird they didnt cut the holes for the cubby in the bed liner, all other XLT i saw had it cut
