    Debbie and Louie demonstrate spectacular skill in this number. They rock, they spin, they circle, they clinch, they stretch, they turn----all the while they maintain a super fluid cross back step (popular at the time). The moves match the song perfectly. We are lucky to have this here for us to watch----Bill from Pennsylvania

    Debbie and Louie were my favorite dancers on the show, they were so great. Wonder where they are now, what they're doing? Remember seeing Debbie on Happy Days and on a disco episode of Starsky & Hutch.

    I like looking at historical dances, I would love to have seen more of the black couple, I think they were good, the middle couple were way off beat, the first couple dancing for that song was absolutely perfect.

    When I first saw "AB", that is the set that was being used at the time! If I ever win the lottery, I will open a nightclub! I would want the dance floor to look exactly like that set (minus the bleachers, Rate-A-Record stand, Top Ten board, and podium)! Plus, I would create a unique logo with chasers lights on it!

    Thanks SO MUCH for this!! I've tried looking up their names online but to no avail...til now. They also danced on a dance show that was on Monday through Fridays that I'd watch every day when I got home from high school. For the life of me can't remember the name though! But it was such a treat to see them 6 days a week! And that show was an hour and a half long! I remember Gina and Rick were also on that show. I often thought Debbie danced with Rick when she was mad at Louie ha ha. Anyway, they were an incredibly attractive couple and awesome dancers.

      OMG, I know this is an old post, but I've been trying to identify that show forever! I remember watching it after school in 1975-76 and that Debbie and Louie were on it but your post is the first reference to it that I've ever found! I have zero recollection of the name of the show, but thank you for proving that I wasn't imagining things!

      Hahaha, yeah, I'm still dumbfounded as to the darn name of that show. I haven't given up though! And I remember the host of the show was some guy with brownish hair and a moustache, and, if I remember correctly, he was always flubbing his lines. LOL. I may be wrong but I think the host's name was Randy.

      I FOUND IT!!!
      "The Music Thing (TMT) was an after-school Dick Clark dance/rock production. The show was a one-hour syndicated TV program which was apparently short-lived. It is only listed in LA Times TV schedule from 14 September 1975 through to 7 November 1975, and apparently was only shown on the US West Coast, on the (at the time) independent and trendy LA TV Channel 5. It does not appear either in Midwest or East Coast TV stations programming, so it was not a network TV program which may explain it not being listed in any of the TV reference books."

    • @margots6527
      @margots6527 Год назад +1

      This HAS to be it, except I watched it in the Philadelphia area so it's not true that it was only on the west coast.
