Can’t wait for the mind map video!🤩 Would you be able to go more in-depth with the other techniques too? Like how you made your Anki cards and what you learnt?
It would actually be a good idea to put the link of Ali Abdaal videos that you mention so that we get access to it and benefit from it too. Again, very helpful 👍
Hey man i know this is a year later but what advice would you give to a year 10 going into year 11 whose averaging 6 and 7s and 4s in english, hoping for grade 8/9s. Great vid man.
I’m in all extension classes for my subjects, and my exams are also extension. My teacher said the expected pass rate for extension students is really low and now I’m extremely stress bc I wanna do good.
@@ArcherNewton thanks. Also keep up your content, its really helpful. I'm sure it will benefit me in my studies and I wish you the best of luck in your medical journey.
Omg all this has happened to me also like i was also like you but this year i got to know about your RUclips channel and now it has change my life but i am still not able to understand how to beat the forgetting curve I have watched the video twice still not able to understand.
Hi Aadesh, I hope my channel has been helping! maybe try this link to understand more about the forgetting curve :) www.mindtools.com/pages/article/forgetting-curve.htm
Hey Archer, I tried the “making your own questions advice that projectelon gave". I think I didn't understand or I did it wrong. And now the questions are too many and I am not able to use them and go back to them. Help me🥺
Hey bro, I’m currently in year 10 right now, term 3, next year I’m taking methods, chem, legal, business, health and english all unit 1 and 2. I’m someone who’s luckily naturally smart, so in semester 1, I got 92 average for my main subjects with not much studying or care at all. However, I full well know that this won’t last long at all next year, so I’m begging to properly study so I can have it as a habit, but my problem is that I find it very hard to stay motivated, on track, and study for longer hours since I get distracted so easily, also consistently studying properly. Do you have any tips for me? Thanks.
they are the same thing. 99.5 rounded to one decimal point is 99.9. Also, it is impossible to score higher than 99.95, its quite literally the highest atar mark achievable. There is no 100.
Can’t wait to see how you keep improving your study techniques! x
Me too! x
@@ArcherNewton Hey did you do tutoring? if you did do you recommend anything?
From year 10 😍😍 and I'm here in year 11 still struggling with my life ☹
Please continue you've been soooo helpful 👍😊
thank you so much!! I’ll do my best :)
What atar did you get?

Not sure which one but I don't actually recommend it anymore because inquiry based learning and mindmapping is just so much more effective
Soon three years later and still no mind mapping video 🙈
Inspiring video:)
great video, my story is similar to yours. what a coincidence.
ahha cool
5:09 cheeky flex :^)
hahhaha :)
Hey Archer! Amazing video as always! As I am also accelerating chemistry and methods, do you have any tips?
Thank you! Not really sure what you're looking for but you just want to make sure that it doesn't go to waste and actually do super well in those.
lmao

Mental-mapping, inquire based, no notetaking.

would you be able to share your anki decks?
Hi Umar, the whole point of flashcards is to make them yourself and that will result in your best learning :)
@@ArcherNewton thank you!
Hi! I am considering accelerating in Maths Methods in year 10, would you recommend doing so? What are the pros and cons?
Sure, completely up to you, pros are, if you do well, you can accelerate your learning, cons are you're not prepared for it and just don't do well.

Hey Archer, what was that app you used on your phone where you checked off your daily habits?
Done app :)
can you tell me what to study for senior specialist?
i'm not 100% sure because it will depend on your curriculum :)
Hey archer quick question, how would I use active recall for studying maths?
check out my video on how to study for maths where I go into other study techniques as well :) ruclips.net/video/HLzF19DGYqI/видео.html

You need discipline, motivation won’t help you. Try to start studying a fixed time everyday until that increases. At that will help you a lot 😂
What does "duck" mean? When he said he got ducks in year 10.
He meant dux, which means he was basically the best in terms of grades and academics in his grade.

I remember reading at an article that you got 99.9 which is superbly epic, But it's misleading to put 99.95
they are the same thing.
