Being an artist is not about hitting high notes it’s about how you connect to people and to tell a story This round l will give to the last guy it’s Sofronio but they both did a great job
If I am to nitpick, it was a neck-and-neck with the first and last guy. The first guy's song choice was quite difficult and his transition to a higher register at some point earlier in the song was obvious (though it's really difficult to make it smooth actually). The third guy song may not be that difficult than the first's but he was able to showcase the control on his voice, the range (with some belting typical from some Filipinos). But what made him a master of his craft is not anymore on hitting the high notes but he was so good that hearing him sing, you won't feel him struggling, he's able to tell the story, he's enjoying it, and was able to connect with the audience. Maybe, just maybe. As for the girl, I personally prefer deeper voices but I wanted to understand her that her voice must be thinner that she could have made the performance more playful though novelty songs are easier (fun) but play can also be on the varying singing style throughout a song, but then it might make or break her as it will expose how adept/versatile she is or (not in some style) in singing. 🤔 Enough with the critical, God bless all aspiring singers and storytellers. 😊

Of course it is about hitting notes and not just connect to people. How on earth can you even connect to people when your notes are flat and all over the place? That would be distracting and irritating if you're not hitting those notes!

Jeremy is from another planet, absolutely awesome voice, full of emotion and depth. I've watched every single season of the Voice from the beginning, and Jeremy is one of the very best.
I've watched Jeremy's performance a dozen times and I'm stunned. He brings tears to my eyes, he is so incredibly talented and he sang this song with all the grace and emotion possible, the big open soaring notes and the intimate butterfly runs, absolutely beautiful!

Sofronio is so effortless and versatile it’s ridiculous. Jeremy is just a powerhouse. I personally think Sofronio is the better singer but Jeremy might’ve had the edge in this round because of the song choice.
- Jeremy started dramatically, wasn't sure where it was going, then that tone came in and the big notes into the light falsetto enchanted me. Such good control. So emotional too. - Kiara has such a pleasing tone, really laid into those low notes, constantly popping out the big notes so rich and rounded. Very nice. - Sofronio Vasquez is such a showman, laid lightly on the vibrato and purred out this lyric like a Telenovela performer and reminded me of Bruno Mars in spots. Such an amazing voice and performer. - So You Wanna Be A Singer
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT KIARA. Like genuinely her rendition was flawless and showed genuine artistry. It was giving Grammy performance. The other two were also amazing but Kiara really blew me away.

They are all good. For Jeremy ,this is one of his best performance (plus The Impossible Dream). For Sofronio, vacal dynamics and stage presence, love it. For Kiara, I like the fullness of her voice specially in her low registers.
Sofronio has this incredible way of owning the song. His vocal control is just on another level. You can really feel the emotion in his performance, and he hits all the right notes with such ease.
