Yes it was a moment and yes maybe it was a reaction but you cannot make it valid just for the sake of your emotions. If that video would come out after your nikah that was fine but you very well know the religion and culture you belong to you know your audience and yet you're defending that behaviour it's a shame! If you call yourself a muslim you're obliged to abide by the rules of islam according to which you are not allowed to touch, look at much less kiss someone who you have not married. And that's what the people pointed out that it's wrong. 'The public display of pure love' could have been verbal and nobody would mind. It's the physical gesture that got so much flak. Opening up people's minds for what? To make kissing in public a common sight? And then what next? It will keep progressing to no end. Not everything needs to be publicly displayed.
