Usyk is a perfect example of the defensive responsibility you're talking about. His hands are always up. You can pretty much count the number of times he's been hit flush in his entire career. Never been knocked down. Even when he's running down AJ in the 12th his hands are up and defensively ready. He can use his head movement to dodge but he still keeps his hands up unlike Fury.
yeah completely forgot to mention usyk which really should have been top on my mind given how he came in vs fury 50pounds bigger. he put it on fury and rocked him in round 1.. this is what dubois needs to do but wont.
if usyk can do it vs fury then no reason dubois couldnt do it vs AJ. even when usyk was slapping aj, aj was shook/ bent out of shape.
