I like how ur braid pattern makes them look like single and not crochet. I just dont have the patience to sit for single braids anymore😂, but i love the look of single braids.
Okay - so I bought these braids from Amazon and NO MAAM. These things are impossible to use. I had probably 14 small braids going straight back with a small leave out and I still couldn't conceal the braids. Mind you, I do faux locs/braids all the the time. I think these braids are supppper tiny, so your foundation has to be almost perfect to hide them with these. I have thick, medium length natural hair so it was very difficult to cover. Not to mention - the braids look a bit too uniform and factory-made... all the loose hair on me looked a bit off. I desperately wanted to like this hair but it went back to Amazon ASAP! So to anyone out there wanting to try - I had a similar issue covering the braids as Jess did
Girl love your channel! And kudos to your home girl! I typically leave a small perimeter out myself and by the end of the install I’m too threw! She must have the patience of a saint! Every individual box braid is crazy!!! And yes, always buy more than you think you need. But as always - your work is gorgeous as are you!
Your hair looks amazing. Maybe you can make that anchor braid, the one that the box braids connect to, a little thinner, and once you connect the box braids, then it will not be so thick. Let me know if that makes sense.

I remember wearing this style back in 2001! It wasn't crochet braids just regular individuals using the French curl pony hair

You did great ..if you wanted to put the first cornrows plenty smaller so that when you add the plates it won't be bulky ..
