I'm not sure if you've seen "Mr. Holland's Opus", but I think you might like a scene where he helps Gertrude not give up on the clarinet. I posted a comment about it earlier, but I included a link to a clip, and I forgot that RUclips tends to block posts that have links in them.

Thank you for wise and honest perspective on your journey! For me it is writing, and like you, I often stumble over my own expectations. Your insight into giving yourself the grace on the journey spoke to me and gave me peace to accept the path in all its forms.

I'm 63 and have a new accostic guitar still in the case. I bought it over 2 years ago but I'm determined to have it tuned and start learning to play this summer.❤

    YAYYY 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎸🎶🎶🎶🎵🎶🎶🎶
I practiced because i enjoyed the practice alone in my room and i practiced upside down hanging over the edge of the bed. Sitting in a chair became less and less as i found more comfortable and challenging positions with arms outstretched. Make your practice not so long and do more short sessions per hour and anytime of day or night.

👏 very good video to support beginners to stay on !! If you put everything to small pieces while learning something this gives you a lot of success feelings when you reach these tiny midpoint goals. You have accept challenges. When I enteredvthe Ghost Tributeband Another nameless Ghost I thought I should play the rhythm parts. But then came out that I should play the most Lead parts. Something I never really did before. Every song was a challenge and I couldn’t imagine that one day I could play Setlists which are over 2 hours long. But I did it. So you have to stay on playing and knowing that you can make it !! Cheers from germany 🤘

Thank you so much for your comment! 🤘🙏 wow! That's awesome! Of the setlist, which are you favorite songs to play? Which was the hardest song to learn?

@@AndyCrimson hmm it always changes. But it is always the next song I have to learn :-P The impera stuff is much harder for playing the Solos.

Hey Andy really love the channel. I know what it's like to want to be further along with learning a instrument. I'm learning drums. Don't give up and keep working and you'll be playing Ghost before long

Square Hammer sounded good! That's the type of riff that I'd struggle to play at that speed. You'll grow and grow, guitar Andy is rising!🔥🔥🔥

Hell yeah! Keep it up, you're doing great Andy! Kind of on a tangent, you might like the movie Crossroads (1986, with Ralph Macchio, not the Brittney Spears one lol), its a really fun guitar movie.

You go Andy! I've dabbled in guitar a bit and need to get more into it. It's been tougher than I thought lol, coming from the piano. But yes, practice, get that muscle memory going!👍👍👍

Don't give up! I'm slowly learning to take songs by chunks at a time and I think that's been the most encouraging :)

Watching “That Pedal Show”, with the gents having their guitars on their laps makes me want my guitar on mine as well and it always gets me going!🤩🎸✨
(I simply cannot watch it any other way😄)
Though one must take into consideration that their creatively insightful shows average about an hour in length of view time before one can truly get down to practicing properly☝️🤓)
*not promoting that channel, just encouraging you that any similarly enjoyed videos could bring on your urge to practice*
    “Keep on-keeping on” Andy!
    👋😁

Hello, I really enjoyed this video! It’s awesome to see that you’re learning guitar, you’re doing great so far! I started playing in 1994 and I know the struggle that you’re going through when it comes to learning the instrument. You’re pretty far along as of right now as I can see, keep up the awesome work! PS I love the songs by ghost!

Hi David :) Thank you for watching! What type of music do you play? Had you heard of Ghost before?

    • @quantumhuman82
      @quantumhuman82 8 месяцев назад +1

Yes, I love ghost! I play a classic rock style on guitar, kind of a tool style on drums. My voice ain’t great, but I sing and play bass guitar also. I write my own music.
