American Virtuoso is an excellent guitar. I bought the matte black one when they first came out and just fell in love with it. The way it resonates is insane. I sold my mij soloist because this one was so much better. I hope Jackson does a version like they did with the American solist with ss frets and emg pickups. Not that there is anything wrong with the Duncans, they sound great I just really like the emg 57/66 set. The neck on the virtuoso is the best neck I've ever played on.
Lovely green gem 😀 maybe it will smell like mint if u keep playing around that dark spot u mentioned hahaha.. how much time those springs will last? 😅 greetings guitar doctor ❤ 🙋🏻♂️🍻
@@johnnyfrancis443 greetings my brother ! Springs will last a lifetime better springs will help with bridge stability and ease of tuning when using larger gauges ! It already smells like minty fresh guitar licks😂😂
@ Gotoh ge 1996T. This is a made in Japan Trem. The FR 1500 is still made in Korea after all. This makes the made in Japan series more attractive in my opinion.
@ ohh right. Good point actually just looked up the bridge and that is a nice bridge. And I think some older Jackson models came with it. Maybe one day I’ll pick one up with that bridge as well
Do you feel seams between the laminated pieces in the back of the neck? The thin white maple stripes have clearly retracted on mine, and the non-existent finish didn't help
@@chteffunxox97 interesting scenario with yours. Not I do not feel it at all, what’s good is that fender and Jackson have a great warranty service. I would advise reaching out to them and see what they say.
@@jesterraj 100% no reason whatsoever on a 2k guitar to not have stainless steel frets. That is the biggest downside. Their SL2mg do have SS frets but it’s also 600$ more
@@deandee8082 come to think of it. That would be so cool if Jackson did that again. I remember there was one in the 90s called pile of skull SL1, that one is my fav.
As always let me know if there are any questions about the guitar and I will answer them all! Cheers and rock on \m/
Awsome intro and great review.

This with stainless steel frets and a gotoh trem would have been amazing...
for sure on the stainless steel frets ! But I do like the Floyd rose bridge it comes with. Which gotoh trem are you referring to ?

@@TheKeyOfE88 thank you.
I just received it yesterday, I will send it back to the merchant.
@ yep that’s the best course of action now. But it is a great guitar if you can get a suitable replacement it’s highly recommended
@@TheKeyOfE88 I definitely will. I have a SL3 Soloist from the American Series that is flawless

Jackson slow on the ball everyone installing SS in their builds....Harley Benton Fusion 3 has SS...@like 225 on the non FR models
