I love this method for the reason that it's incredibly consistent, other methods I always go from a 4-10 but this is just a consistent 7-8. Good enough to start my day right and doesn't have the drawbacks of getting a bad cup of coffee with other methods.
Tried this just now.. While it didn't produce the best cup, I have to say it's a very 'honest' method. You can really tell the quality of the beans via this method. Thanks for the video!
Bit of a late response, but... This method is something newer he was working on to produce a sweeter, less acidic brew, and is meant for use with the standard v60 brewer. The video he demonstrated it is here: ruclips.net/video/miuPSjazpyw/видео.html

This method is great, it’s easy and fast i use this method every morning before going to work.
One word: genius.
This method is very suitable if there are 5 customers ordering V60s in one time

Use a coarser grind. Not sure why it is fine that is recommended here.
@mrk jsn cab you share the link of the vid?
This man is the mad genius of coffee
I love this "only bloom" method. So simple and sweet tasting!
Thank you for sharing. Tetsu is a true genius!
What is your thought on this method? And which method do you think is the best.
Could you perhaps say how many clicks you use on the timemore?
Hi , May I know how many clicks do you use to get the coarse grind size using your timemore ? I own a timemore Slim , so this is incredibly helpful .
too much water in the 1st phase tends to push the coffee to the funnel wall. you will use more coffee using this way hence 1:12
You say fine grind but is that fine for pour over or fine like espresso
can this be done over ice? would it taste the same? or should I follow the pour-over ice coffee recipe?
I'd recommend James Hoffman's recipe for pour over ice coffee.
good method , just , how much is the water temp?
95-96c
brew hotter as per James Hoffman
Why is he storing his beans in the zip bag they came in? Those aren’t airtight.
How many click did you do on your timemore?
Im using this method before kasuya found it, since 2 years ago. Nobody knows, bcause im not a world champion
from the bottom of your heart, you are a world champion
Yes , thx. Im dont like copying other people technique. Bcs i have my own brain.
İ think you should swirl the dripper for flat bed
Sorry, the original method doesn't recommend for swirling dripper. You can find in this video ruclips.net/video/miuPSjazpyw/видео.html
Kasuya dripper is diff from ordinary v60.
He tweak it..

The one he used is a white one, so just an ordinary V60. The Kasuya model drips soooo slow.
Coffee maker method?
Yes, I reduced scale from original method in this video ruclips.net/video/miuPSjazpyw/видео.html
