  • In this video, I will teach you how to master calm aim. What calm aim is and what it takes to get good with calm aim. There is more to it than just relaxing, so stick around because I give some pretty helpful tips for improving your aim, even if your goal isn't to have a super calm aim.

      I don't know about this because I tried this and got killed every time.
      Maybe cuz I play on Pacific servers, people here are mostly using high sens and focus on speed rather than first bullet accuracy like demon1.
      Same happened with yay when he was playing in NA he was getting kills with op despite being slow to be precise. When he tried this on Pacific he got killed immediately.
      Also this aim technique works against people who don't have good aim or use slow aim technique. Otherwise people like prx jinggg will force you to be fast otherwise they will kill you faster than you take your time to adjust.

      @@lolpol-hn8dv you might be mistaken on what I said, basically my comment just agreed with your ideology, in short. People claim you take your time to aim is the way to succeed, which just is not true at a certain point. FPS games favor speed over accuracy every single time. If you have a easy shot on the opponent, aim fast. If you have a hard shot on the opponent, but they have a easy shot on you, aim fast. If you have a hard shot on your opponent and they have a hard shot on you, that is when you can “aim slower” without being punished consistently for it.
      Also, sens does not matter, someone can “out speed” their opponent on slow sens, if they simply just move their hand faster irl. The only benefit to fast sens is slower hand fatigue during sessions and not running out of mousepad as a cause of death during fights. You’d have to play on a edpi of 1400+ to simply be faster than your opponent because of your sens. Someone who plays on 250 edpi can easily outpace a player who might be on 500 edpi. I myself, play on a 37 cm 360, which is about 340-350 edpi, and my teammates OFTEN think I am playing on ridiculously high sens because of how fast my aim looks.

      @@Karebu. it's certainly correct in principle that calm aim is better, and you can be faster with a slower sens. Like the saying goes, slow is smooth and smooth is fast. But higher sens has almost all the advantages, if manageable to the player. Higher sens means less physical movement to achieve the same angle of rotation, faster crosshair movement, less fatigue potentially and easier 180s (though 180s rarely matter). Low sensitivity has precisely one advantage: larger margin for error. By reducing the amount of cursor movement for equivalent hand movement you require less physical precision with your hand. Low enough and even someone with poor dexterity can place the crosshair accurately. But it's fundamentally true that if you e.g double your sens you double your cursor speed, which means flicking twice as fast assuming enough dexterity and physical precision to maintain in game accuracy. 1mpala always used to say you can train to be more accurate you can't train to be faster, in the sense that your hand speed is essentially a limitation whereas your sensitivity is an option and practicable.
      The best sens within reason is about as fast as you can go while remaining comfortably precise. It's no surprise that in many games guys considered candidates for greatest of all time play/ed on higher than average sensitivity for their respective games. E.g CS average sens is around 40cm/360, s1mple plays at 33cm. Rapha in Quake 23cm/360, Profit in Overwatch 21cm/360, Shayko in Siege 33cm/360, f0rest at his peak was playing at ~29cm/360. If you can hit the same accuracy with higher sens then you're just faster and potentially more explosive, with the rare circumstances where that extra speed comes into play enabling more to happen when split seconds matter. But absolutely you can reach the highest levels with any sens, and lower sens allowing easier shots for more consistency for the average player should be the default generally.

    • @Karebu.
      @Karebu. Месяц назад

      @@sEaNoYeAh very well said, I’ve tried slow sens (for me, this is about anything higher than 35 cm 360, (my personal cut off point is 37cm 360, anything higher and I absolutely hate how slow it is.). With faster sens, I find games to be more enjoyable and fatigue is almost non existent. I main Valorant and play on 32 cm 360 with a glass mousepad. My preferred sens would be 27 cm 360, but I’m not consistent on it enough to use it in precision heavy games sadly. (For instance, I can play apex legends/the finals at a 22 cm 360 even and be relatively okay, because of how much room for error in aiming you have.
      It is not secret that the best aimers in the world (top aim trainer players) can play on ANY sensitivity and perform, but most of them play on super high sens in actual games.
      All good aim is, good mouse control.
      You train mouse control faster by having more difficulties presented to you. (For instance, training on 2x your in-game sens, for a very long time, or even purposely playing on super high sens and sticking with it through every whiff and not lowering it.
      Very good (arguably the best AIMERS in valroant, play very fast sens as well.)
      PRX Forsaken (under 30 cm 360)
      PRX Something (under 30 cm 360, but he recently switched to slightly a bit lower, from a 530’ish edpi to 440 edpi)
      N0ted (he played at about 24cm 360 for a very long time, but I believe he plays at a 33 cm 360 now.
      Most of the best “aim” style players, are on fast sens.

    • @chatival
      @chatival 3 дня назад

      @@Blacknight23ify No, for me the problem was different. Every time I missed a shot I would think my aim is bad. And then I would aim train for hours. This is super bad. I managed to figure out my mental, now I don't evaluate my aim during games. The other thing is to stop focusing on how to actually aim during your fights in ranked. You need to let your aim do it's thing, you should only think of strategy and positioning and such. No thinking about how to hit that shot, because you will hit it subconsciously. And the final step is to find a good warmup. I do a 10 minute aimlabs playlist and then do a long exercise which a metafy coach called AKG gave me. With all this, my KD increased by 0.2, from 0.72 to 0.92 and rising. You can probably find an in-game warmup on YT too, but if you go with AKG tell him I sent you 😉

    WIth the move less I can definitely say that It's Insane how long It takes for someone to kill you If you just stand still, In Counter-Strike the player n0thing has demostrated this perfectly, he said that If your dying alot and overall just panicking In-Game, hop Into a deathmatch and just stand still when you see an enemy and you will be surprised by how long It takes them to kill you, you have alot of time In the world to land your shots or perfect your spray before they can kill you, ESPECIALLY against lower ranked players or If your just starting out, It really changed how I think about taking gunfights In both Counter-Strike and Valorant and really showed how powerful taking your time can be.

    Everyone takes all the time they want in DM and you can clearly see that based on how fast you die in comp compared to DM. There's no other way around it but to consistently and consciously practice improving aim. Smoothness comes from confidence from putting the time in and knowledge of where they are. Once you get good, then you have the option to take your time.

    When you peak angle to angle, do you pick up your mouse? I find myself picking up my mouse way to often that when I see an enemy, I’m always late to it because I’m picking up my mouse. Or do you just drag the mouse all the way and then possibly pick it up and reset when you’re doing a 180

    • @priyamvatsa4239

      you wont need to pick your mouse as much if your sens is moderate or high
      as for low sens (like me 0.1 1600 dpi), you'll just have to reset your mouse before peeking with good crosshair placement
      resetting or picking your mouse up while you get ready to peek behind a cover is fine cuz you're not in danger of dying. rest aside its normal to pick your mouse :)

    - like i usually hold my house with my index and middle being on top of the left and right click(using my index to scroll jump), pinky is in the right side of the mouse, and thumb for thumb buttons, although
    but i feel like i shake my mouse more accidently(causing jitters)
    and i feel like i can aim more 'stable' if i use 3 fingers on top of my mouse (index for left click, middle for scroll wheel and ring for rightclick)
    - i dont want to practice with the second option incase it is actually bad. cz it will be difficult to revert back to my usual mouse position

    • @LennyHirsch
      @LennyHirsch 3 месяца назад

      Largely personal preference although you'll technically have a more stable base with two fingers on the side of your mouse. Maybe try pay a bit more attention to how tightly you're gripping your mouse. A tight grip can be jittery, so if you find yourself clamping down on that sucker, loosen up a bit and see if that helps before changing your grip completely.

      I’m silver but I remember hearing woohoojin say to just play that thing more. Nervous in ranked? Play more ranked. You’ll get used to the feeling.
      Figure out what’s causing that sense of urgency. Afraid you’re gonna die? Maybe upsetting your tm8s for losing a duel? You should know when you have a free kill and you shouldn’t even have to think about aiming and shooting.
      Figure out your brain. Since you’re aware of the fact that you tense up. Before going into a fight in a tense situation just BREATHE and be calm. Stay focused on the task at hand. Cause when you start thinking about having to aim, that’s when shit hits the fan.
      I’m gc2(basically immo2) in rocket league, and I do this on close games. I don’t think it’s a mechanical thing for you. It’s a brain/emotional thing. You’re immo, you got the aim I’m sure. You won’t get tense or nervous if you’re confident in your ability and know, and I mean truly know what you’re doing. Cause the feeling you described went away when I felt capable.
      Once again I’m silver but being a decent rank in other games makes me feel like I can relate to you. I.e. getting shaky when performing a mechanic.
      TLDR;
      Figure out what’s causing you to tense up. Ask why and be SPECIFIC with answers. Be confident in your ability. If there is no confidence, you need to build it.
      This has been what’s worked for me.

    trust me. everything depends on what HZ you playing on. Theres only so far you get on 60hz, on 144hz, on 240hz and so on. you're not tenz, and you're not on Lan. So you'll always loose to someone with a better pc. ggs and don't rage, forgive yourself. cuz in reality you clap anyone in radiant.

      He says move *less*, not "don't move at all". The point is a lot of players strafe around like crazy and it doesn't actually help them.
