As far as I'm concerned, this is the perfect example of what cinema should be. As Einsestein put it it must touch all senses and the images, the music and the plot of this film touches all of them. This and The Ulyse's gaze are two of the greatest films concerning the "coming back" to find that nothing is what you longed for. The trip from the airport to the village while Anastasia plays Passover is (in my opinion) one of the greatest moments in cinema.

One of my all time favourites. For me the best bagpipe sound that I've ever heard, or will hear. A magnificent creation by the Anastasia trio.
