You got this! I've been down and out here lately, but happy to see your video. I honestly don't know why you don't have more subscribers, but that doesn't mean your content isn't helping lives in some form and way. So thank you and I hope to see more videos from you soon.
This is so good to hear Kirsten. Starting your day as you described also works for me. Outside exercise in winter is the best. Your body has to metabolize that cold air so you burn MORE calories in cold weather. You are making progress by first taking care of your physical, emotional and spiritual needs. The better you feel the more you will naturally get done. I am praying for you. Stay strong Kirsten. All the best.
My routine this year (and it's been a struggle to get into it) is to get up early and read / make notes on something related to personal development or on my craft (The Creative Act - Rick Rubin probably my favourite this year, read it 4/5 times). Found having a routine early in the day and in the last two hours of the evening makes the day so much easier. Now I just need to build in physical exercise, and cooking into that routine as well!
My morning routine is waking up and solving my Rubik's cube 3 times. The last thing I do at night before I go to sleep is mix it up for the next morning; it adds a a nice bit of continuity, and after I've done the 3 solves I just spend several minutes breathing and focusing. Learning the Rubik's cube was something I had been afraid of and wanted to do for awhile and it just took few hours over the course of a few days to learn from video tutorials. I can solve it reliably in about a minute now, and it also gives me something to do when I would otherwise be doomscrolling on my phone lol. I'm also going to try moving my phone across the room at night because the temptation to grab it first thing or if I wake up in the night is still there. Thanks for the tip!
That sounds like a good way to refocus the mind, kind of like a mediation! I feel like I would just get frustrated though cause I have no clue how to solve one haha
@@KirstenQuist It's a lot like meditation although meditation and prayer are still something I do in addition! I've been looking at not knowing how to do something and being intimidated or afraid of something as signs that I should at least be curious about the subject. Sometimes it just doesn't resonate with me and I move on, but sometimes it comes from that inner voice that tries to keep me from experiencing failure.

Well done, Kirsten! Very encouraging!
I'm glad you think so!
Thanks Kristen❤
I also just started to run outside in the snow! Writing my distances and times in a little notebook has helped me stay motivated.
That's a great idea! I haven't been tracking so far but I think it would be encouraging to do!
I love your contents !
Thank you 😊
Wow, you replied :)@@KirstenQuist
