I also liked how you explained and showed each step, especially how you attached the drawstring ponytail. I was uncertain about what to do with the end of the drawstring after I wrapped it around the ponytail. It appears you just secured it in place using bobbly pins. I hope I am correct.

Yes I did wash and dried. I think I did gel on dry hair (can't remember, haven't seen this video in a while)...if your hair is long enough you won't need to add the extra hair. My hair is short so I needed to add the hair around my ponytail in order to have a good anchor and height for the pull string ponytail ....You can sleep in it...I just wrap mines around at the top and put on a head scarf or bonnet...you can take it off at night, but for me that's to much work in the morning when I'm getting ready to go work.

This was a nice tutorial! Pleasant surprised by the results! However I would recommend you use more moisturizing products. That black gel.....dont use it it has too much alcohol contents in it which dries out hair. Then you used spritz, which does more drying. Cocktail products that have moisturizing properties

It's relaxed...I just washed it and blow dried it this day...I was stretching my relaxer also, so my hair had a lot of new growth when I did this style
I showed how I did it in the video...watch the video @ 5:15 ....but I basically pinned it around my little ponytail and wrapped and pinned as I wrapped it around my hair. You can also use the rubber band method to wrap it around your hair as well. Hope this helps ❤️

debra james....I'm actually from the US Virgin Islands...not Trini..you would definately tell the difference when you hear a Trini talk😊....to sleep with it in all I do is wrap it up in a bun, put on the hair net then tie it down....you just have to make sure it's not tight when you pull your hair into a ponytail and no hair pins are sticking you in your scalp.

How did you add the braiding hair to your hair ?
