I honestly got chills watching those tankers drop. It’s fascinating how Air Attack works with the air resources and coordinates what tactics works best. Great shots! Keep it up! I work near the Paso Air Attack Base and I could recall seeing T74, T75 and the N471CH depart! Cool stuff guys! 🤙🏼
Started my career in Tulare Unit. Spent many nights on the Rez. The tankers go home when the sun the goes down, but the fight continues all night long.
Awesome footage and love this project! My only complaint is the color grading on this clip was quite muted / dark. Would love to see that backed off a little bit
The videography is really well done, music hits perfectly, and I love the in-cockpit audio. Were you not able to get permission from the Forest Service to interview their folks? There's a lot of interesting and cool stuff going on there too: FireWatch, the VLATs, Helitack and Rappel crews, Smokejumpers - I can't believe they would turn down the awesome positive PR opportunity you're creating here (I say out loud, knowing in my head that the FS punts on opportunities like this all. The. Time. Just one part of why I'm no longer with the agency...)

Nice work, going by the season you’ve had over there, I’ll assume you’ve had many many cards filled!!?? 👍👍
So many cards!!
Wonderful work! I’ve never seen this kind of footage. Very nice job! Thank you. Enjoyed the view. Better than anything on TV!! Be safe out there.
Thank you so much!!! We’re trying :) so much more footage to go through too for the real documentary. Can’t wait to put that together!

Always count on Porterville small town base but crazy busy
Especially this year!
I'm always enjoying seeing 74 and 75 when they load here in Santa Maria.
Some great pilots there!

Youre getting some great footage from the ground Jacob. Pity the Boks cant play as good as you shoot LOL
😂😂
Do you guys plan on posting any raw uncut footage of the leads or tankers on another page?
That’s a great question. Do you think folks would enjoy watching raw uncut footage?
Oh yes, especially the true avgeeks. After watching your documentary and understanding what’s going on. The raw and uncut would be that more exciting
