Bengaluru Live-in Couple Dies Due to Geyser Gas Leak, Bodies Recovered From Washroom
A couple has been found dead in the bathroom of their home in Chikkajala, Northeast Bengaluru. Police gave this information on Monday. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the couple died due to poisonous gas released from the geyser in the washroom. The incident took place in Tarbanahalli village of Yelahanka taluk of Bengaluru. The deceased have been identified as Chandrashekhar of Chamrajnagar district and Sudha Rani of Belagavi district. Both were working in a star hotel near Bangalore International Airport.
According to information, the marriage of Chandrasekhar and Sudha Rani was fixed. Both were living together in a live-in relationship before marriage. Chandrasekhar M and Samdharani came to their house in Tarbanahalli on June 10 around 6 pm. At around 9.10 pm, the couple turned on the gas geyser and went to the bathroom to take a bath. The bathroom door and window were closed, so there was no room for air to enter. He died at that time.
