Amen… needed this today and everyday.
My wonderful dad died this morning after enduring weeks of suffering. I feel so blessed to have have stumbled into this song because it reminded me of the peace and joy that he is experiencing in heaven and the joy and peace that await us all.
Carol I’m sorry you lost your dad. I lost mine as well quite a few years ago and the separation never gets any easier with time, yet the hope and joy we have in Christ can’t be explained, only experienced. I’m happy for you and happy for your dad that He is now experiencing God in a way that we can look forward to with hope.

I’m so sorry you lost your dad. I lost my dad years ago and I still miss him today. Losing a parent is a difficult thing to experience. I’m so thankful that because of what Christ did for us, we will one day reunite with our Dads. That is the hope and promise we have in Christ. John 14:1-3. I pray that God will comfort you during this difficult time of loss.

I just lost my precious momma to triple-negative breast cancer. She was 91 and lived a tremendous life. She was such a bright light and touched so many lives. I came across this song just by chance and wow, it hits home. I'm trying to navigate this grieving process. She's in this place...Heaven. I thank you for this song as a reminder of God's grace and His plan if we'd just open our hearts. Took me a long time. God's grace came over me during the process of her dying. I didn't leave her side for weeks. What a journey of love, pain, grace and forgiveness I'll never forget.
Joy I’m so happy for you that have a peace knowing where your sweet mother is. I know the separation we have from loved one can be difficult to go through, but His grace is sufficient. The separation will also make the reunion that much sweeter. I lost both of my parents years ago and still miss them tremendously. I pray that God will give you peace and comfort through your grieving.

I’m so sorry. I can’t imagine what you went thru. I believe God hand picks our parents and he gave mothers a special gift. Fathers also have a special place but as the Bible focused more on Mary as she was chosen to be Jesus mother I think that is why nobody has the same feelings or knows what someone else is going thru because your mom & dad was hand picked just for you. Some people bear the cross of having mothers who leave or don’t care but God always has someone for them. It doesn’t matter how young or old your mom was when she passed away. It’s the next great pain next to losing a child. I love this song too. I love that it is taken from the very words of the Bible . We will see our loved ones first. If they are saved I think they will be among our cloud of great witnesses that will meet us. Time really doesn’t make the pain any better but just knowing that there is a place where we will all live forever helps me. Sounds like your sweet mom left a great legacy. God bless you!!

This song made a huge impact in my late father's life. It touched him and gave him peace. Listening to it has brought me great comfort and I know we will be together again in our forever home. The message is so powerful and inspiring, and George delivers it beautifully. I hope anyone listening is also moved and encouraged.
Rachel, Bob was a huge inspiration to me. I know you know this, but he was the first person outside of my immediate family to hear this song. I still have on my phone the voicemail he left me after hearing it. He was always such an encouragement to me over the years with my songs. Honestly I’m not even sure I would have recorded this song myself if not for his encouragement. I believe it was providential that the first time I sang this song publicly was at his funeral. I’m so thankful that this song has brought you comfort. Our hope is all in Him, and yes, we will see your wonderful dad again.
