How I wish I saw this in the cinema. Was too young :( Even someone who hates fantasy can't help but be moved by this scene, probably the most epic 4 minutes of cinema history. The music is no small part of that.

Better story telling, better cinematography, better soundtrack and better films. 11 Oscars speak for themselves and there will almost certainly be more movies to expand upon the universe

Rohan had been kept safe from harm for a long time thanks to Gondor. Only the rise of Saruman changed that.
