My dad served in the US army when I was a child, he returned with many forms of cancer that plagued the rest of his life. But my dad didn't quit, he was a fighter, and he fought through the cancer, and would always try to prepare me and my siblings for adult life, until the day he inevitably passes. Last year on Christmas Eve, I get the tragic news that my dad had passed away because he caught the flu in the middle of chemotherapy and his immune system couldn't take it anymore, I never even got the chance to say goodbye to him. My dad and I have always hated Trump for many obvious reasons, but to hear the amount of pure disrespect Trump has said about the US veterans, which includes my dad, Trump is one of, if not, the most vile and disgusting inhumane monster I've ever seen in my life. My Dad spent 27 years in the USMC. He fought in WWII AND KOREA. I'm so happy he can not hear a previous PRESIDENT of the United States of America speak of Veterans like this. He passed in 1995. He was the reason I love this country so much. He taught all his daughters what real PATRIOTISM is.

As a fellow veteran I realize that we must hold the line against this guy and his supporters. The fact that Ret. Gen. Mike Flynn is still running around preaching Q insanity and literally endorsing violence against Democrats blows my mind. But it speaks to the obvious reality of the military maintaining allegiance to the Constitution instead of a cult leader. UCMJ states that soldiers do not have to obey an unlawful order. I truly hope that our active duty service members remember their duty.

My dad served in the US army when I was a child, he returned with many forms of cancer that plagued the rest of his life. But my dad didn't quit, he was a fighter, and he fought through the cancer, and would always try to prepare me and my siblings for adult life, until the day he inevitably passes. Last year on Christmas Eve, I get the tragic news that my dad had passed away because he caught the flu in the middle of chemotherapy and his immune system couldn't take it anymore, I never even got the chance to say goodbye to him. My dad and I have always hated Trump for many obvious reasons, but to hear the amount of pure disrespect Trump has said about the US veterans, which includes my dad, Trump is one of, if not, the most vile and disgusting inhumane monster I've ever seen in my life. I’m at a loss for words for Trump and his disregard for those that protected our country is disgusting! I have 7 children, 5 boys and 2 girls. All of my children have served in the military, some retiring, all serving proudly. None of my kids questioned their service.
