Brother i know quit alot students live in llford Which is very near to university. Rest, Wembley, Southall and Hayes u will find alot of accommodation as well it's little far but u have good transport available.

Depending upon university on an average 13 to 15k university fees and 600 to 800 pound living expenses (for London) outer London is much cheaper!
