- I built a western fishing camp on my property and did some winter hot tent camping for my first time with Tikka! This Trout Fishing adventure started with camp construction on my desert property, and part 2 will have lots of fishing with a yummy Trout catch and cook!

Real good one Leif. You forgot the heat shield at the chimney. And the tent still looks so empty. Show us the wildlife, the beauty of a quiet winter landscape and the company of that lovely, adventurous dog. Us city slickers, we need to see all this. Watch those silly chains, they bring you forward but they will not help you break. And if you slide, they just support the sliding. Get some that look like an X, much safer.
This might be one of my most favorite adventures you've ever done!! Can't wait for part 2!!!

Make a leather sleeve that goes around the stove exhaust so you don't burn the tent. I also recommend insulated leather gloves!

Awesome tent bro!! A quick floor saver tip...I keep one of those cheap aluminum turkey roaster pans under my stove door to catch any coals that may fall out when adding wood plus it gives you a place to keep the ashes under control....great video...cheers!!!

turned out to be a pretty good episode. I love the old school lever action rifles chambered in big pistol calibers like .44, .45 and even .357. very fun to shoot and extremely reliable.

I just love your little dog so much personality. I'm sure you already know but don't turn your back on it while your at the property she will be gone in a heartbeat. Coyotes are so sneaky and fast you will not know until it's too late.
Leif, awesome tent set-up, home away from home! I've seen other tent setups use a USB fan (single charge good for a day) and hang it close to the roof to push the raising hot air back down. Really like the rug idea! Stay safe and healthy!

Dude I’m a trucker,those crescent moon shaped pieces of your tire chains are called cam locks,don’t attach a bungee to those lol .The round side should be towards the tread when putting the chains on, the once your tire chain is secured as snugly as possible use the brake lever tool that came with the chain to rotate the camlock a half turn,your tire chain will get noticeably tighter.IF there is still slack in the chain then use bungees on the links only with the hooks facing outwards from the tire.Also if there are any loose extra chain links at the connections ensure those are secured or they will damage your vehicle badly.
Think im going to start playing these videos at half speed to i can enjoy more time of you doing things haha.

That giant "garlic" clove is called Elephant Garlic. It's related to the onion family and can even be eaten raw. But it's best roasted, skin on, in some foil with olive oil in the oven until soft and then squeeze that baby out onto some toasted baguette, just like regular garlic, but sweeter...mmm. Love your videos and always anticipate the next one!!
