    I completely agree with you.

Another great share! Want to add, I place ChatGPT slightly differently: As it is, it does not replace people. Down the line, it could replace inexperienced workers, by giving senior workers the ability to oversee virtual coworkers. I don't like that, but I think that's gonna happen.
For what it does now, it remixes "good content", which can also be code.
In a task, which we know so well we could do it in our sleep, it does not improve productivity (except in the replacement scenario).
As it is, it empowers us in putting together stuff we can't recite whilst asleep.
It is not the same as google, for which we cannot change the search results, only the search by will.
But it is also less factual, in itself.
Getting a properly right, highly customized picture of how to solve a problem, that's one of its key strengths.
Once tied to search results, it will be like someone who is always right about whatever you ask them.
It will be able to solve many problems, with oversight of experienced staff.
That will cost jobs.. Even whole carreer trajectories.
Nobody starts as a master in their craft.
This thing will have a thousand years head start. I feel big stuff is happening, not in 20 years, but in less than 10.

I'm just glad I came across this video :)
I am truly amazed at the various things chatGPT is capable of doing. But somewhere deep down, it makes me feel insecure as well.

Great video, but i would recommend making the video brighter. even the login in screen for chatgpt (that's supposed to be white) is gray, nowhere close to matching the white on the youtube site.

Totally agree with the sentiment that it is a tool to enhance your workflow & not replacing labour.
Even if you gained 5-10% more productivity under the paid model, I am pretty sure an employer would be pretty happy, as it is dirt cheap compared to what an employee would be getting paid (even if paid poorly).

This is great if you are using mainstream languages but ChatGPT often produces garbage for less commonly used languages.

_"AI will not replace you. A person using AI will."_
Well, there are several problems with this statement.
    1. ChatGPT is not really "AI". It is a massive predictive text model. Actually AI will most certainly you when it arrives.
    2. ChatGPT is one of the first iteration of these systems. Even if it is not real AI, assuming that we see the expected progression; a later iteration is likely to be good enough to replace most ''you"s.
    3. It is a case of semantics. If 99 coders lose their job because chatGTP (#notAI) makes coders 100x more productive and so 1 person is doing the job of 100 coders then is it that person or the chat bot that has caused the replacement of 99 people?
    4. Most importantly, these non AI chatbots will eventually be good enough to be used productively by people who know nothing about programming. At that point it has clearly "replaced you"
    TL;DR
_"ChatGPT will not replace you. a better version of it certainly will replace you. Real AI will replace almost everyon!"_
