What an amazing story! I love Scooby's ears! They do awesome movements I've never seen before. When I saw him walking from behind, I saw the strong, muscular legs he had. He was eating well, thanks to the couple, and he kept his weight up. I have no idea where he found warmth through the snowy winter, but he made it! Having a second (or first) dog helped so much with his comfort at being an inside dog. I just loved this story!
They just steal someone's dog and pretend they rescued a dog that was in the wild. He would look much much worse than he does he he was actually in the wild for a year. It would be surprising if he could live through a year in the wild, as most dogs do not do well in the wild. He was well taken care of by his looks, even his coat looked healthy
@@la7era1u54 ofc he looks better than he should they kept feeding him he was never starving.... so you think dogo when home in between meetings in the park to have a snack?
This is exactly how we rescued our dog.....once we got her after about 6 months....we went to the park and met other dogs...that was the trick....had her for 12 wonderful years.❤
Maybe not mistreated at all, but a wild animal with the natural instinct to not trust humans or maybe other humans scarred him away from their location when he wanted to bond with them. The abuse was just an assumption on their part.
He did seem to be neutered so I have to believe he was someone’s pet at one point. But yes a dog that gets left in a backyard for their whole life will have the same reaction to people they don’t know

@@la7era1u54I want to agree but its also as possible that there was another person taking care of them during that time, which is strange considering that he was allegedly neutered.
@@la7era1u54 Normally I might agree with you because there is a tremendous amount of fake content on social media. I just didn't get that vibe from this couple.
You can tell right from the beginning that once this dog trusts fully he's going to be a big goofball. How could you not love those ears, they have a mind of their own!
I was gonna say the same thing. He was really healthy looking for a stray. Maybe someone got ‘em’ as a puppy and immediately put him outside once he got big.
That's what I thought. They "rescued" someone else's pet for sure, but Scooby chose them so whoever didn't care enough to keep an eye on their dog missed out. Could tell he wasn't allowed in the house where he was before by the way he entered their home.
Scooby is soooo adorable! Thank you for never giving up on this handsome boy! You guys must have been so relieved to finally get Scooby inside and in for a vet check. I'm glad he has another dog buddy, too! ❤
I remember this story!! Very interesting and inspiring!! This dog 🐶🐕 was completely afraid of anything and anybody!! It was going to be a lot of work to get him to come around, but they was persistent and they did it!! Now, he doesn't have to worry about nobody mistreating him!! That's Wonderful 😊😊
Scoopy has chose you. He knows from the bottom of his innocent heart, you are not going to hurt him even with some hesitancy. Chosen by a our furry friends is the ultimate honor in my opinion! ❤😘🐶🙏👍 thank you for loving this adorable handsome boy🙏❤️😘🐶
Oh! I needed that burst of love and joy this morning! Welcome to your forever home, Scooby! You hit the jackpot of love and safety! Your humans are AMAZING! ❤❤❤
Thank you for being so kind and being patient with Scooby. You can tell he was mistreated horribly but the long wait was worth it for him and for your family. He’s a beautiful dog that now belongs to a beautiful couple in a beautiful house. God is ALWAYS good. ❤️🙏❤️🙏
So happy you kept trying to get Scooby, and you finally did get him. This is a wonderful story. Scooby learned to trust again because of the kindness you showed him. He is beautiful and really liked Samson. Those ears are hysterical. Thank you so much for never giving up.
He really does look JUST like Scooby 🥹😭😍 He's such a sweet boy! I'm so thankful yall were so dedicated to keep pursuing him and his heart. God bless yall. So thankful he's safe and loved with you three! 🥹💕💕💕
You could hear the love in her voice as she called for him throughout fall and winter. ❤️ The amount of joy they both received from Scooby is so heartwarming.🥰 And how about those ears?!! What a great family for Scooby to stumble upon.❤️
It’s always the humans other dogs that help the strays feel fully and completely ok. Animals are so smart. Thank you for helping this sweet guy! God bless you guys!
Every time he ran towards you I got goosebumps. You know, that feeling “ Yes, yes almost there “ The feeling of victory. He’s gorgeous, thanks for your persistency
Congratulations to Joe and Marla on passing your one year vetting process! Scooby is such a sweet, but discerning boy with the bestest bat ears in the business! Happy he picked you to be his fur-ever family and Samson to be his brother from another mother!
Such a beautiful dog. It seems someone else was caring for Scooby too, he was still thick and no ribs showing after the harsh winter. And he wasn't afraid to enter their home. I'm glad these people opened up their heart and home so Scooby never has to worry about his safety or his next meal or left out in the cold or heat...now he can sleep peacefully in comfort with love surrounding him.
This dog does not appear homeless, just perhaps lost and when some dogs do get lost, they're afraid of everyone. I hope that they shared "Found" posters locally and on Facebook. Not every found dog is lost or abused. I had a dog that slipped under our backyard fence years ago during a thunderstorm at night. I went from house to house to find him, I hung up "Lost" signs all over our community and even had a picture of him on our local ciry tv station. 5 days later I received a phone call. Someone found him but could not catch him, he kept running away. He was much thinner when I finally got him in my arms and brought him home. He never slipped under the fence again after that. He was a pembroke welsh corgi named Sulley and I love and miss him so much since his passing years ago ❤
You are the best of human beings, thank you, I’m crying happy tears what a beautiful dog, and those ears! Scooby a perfect name 😁 it’s as if your lovely dog whispered in his ear and said don’t worry buddy my mum and dad are good people they will love and take good care of you too! 🥰🏴🇬🇧
Thank you for saving Scooby❤ who could hurt such a sweet loving animal? And those ears I think that's the sweetest thing 😊 now he has his forever home and it's because of you good people❤❤❤❤ ebony has a friend so how great is that?
You guys did a great job with Scooby. Oh my goodness you hit the jackpot. The best thing you did was when you introduced your dog to him that was magic. Now you have two best friends, wonderful best little treasures on earth.
I have volunteered in rescue and foster for over a decade and rescued dogs are the most loving and loyal dogs once they realize they're not going to be harmed again. Obviously I hope for the day when no dog needs to be rescued from neglect or abuse but until then we can all do our part to give them all a happy life even after such a horrible start.❤
Such a sweet story and beautiful dog. So glad you were able to win his trust and he was able to find a forever home where he was comfortable. Amazing patience too ❤
Beautiful boy💙 Time, patience and love. I rescue very small scale and those moments of triumph are life altering for them and us in an amazing way. I still remember the many times of them finally realizing...I can trust this lady... absolutely the best feeling in the world to be honored with their trust... it's a gift. They are a gift. Well done folks truly 🧡🧡🧡

Yes its a nice story 😊 getting a dogs complete trust needs patience
He's a great candidate for an animated movie with those ears, eyes and facial expressions. I think he hit the jackpot with his new owners and home.
I was just thinking that!
IKR? When I saw that pool, I was like "I want to live there!"
His big ol stompers too!
Scooby landed softly. His ears are like My Favorite Martian antennae.
Patience and perseverance won out. Scooby found the right people to call his own. ❤💕❤
Yes he sure did!!
Climbing those steps he wanted to know where's the elevator good story good people 😊
Now that's commitment!
So happy Scooby now has a loving home.
