- Hello friends!
Today you’ve come to the ear doctor for a hearing test. I’ll perform a brief ear exam, and a detailed audiogram to test your hearing. This will include a beep test and a speech recognition test.
I hope you enjoy. Make sure to listen with headphones for the full effect!
Also, sorry for the bad video quality in the short ear exam portion. I'm not sure what happened and I didn't have the energy to re-film that portion and export the whole video again.

Before I even start this video...when I was a kid I went for a hearing test, and the individual put me into a booth and would play a sound into either ear or both at different pitches.
At one point she whispered: hotdog
To this day I still lose my MIND whenever someone says hotdog, it's one of my best memories as a kid lmao.

I've had that exact experience and I had to repeat each word I heard back to the lady testing me. My mom was in the room and was confused when I started saying words like hotdog and cinnamon.

This is so nice and professional! My sister became legally deaf in high school because of a genetic condition, so I had to get yearly tests done to monitor my hearing as well, and I always thought the hearing tests were relaxing and tingly.

Hi! Just found you through the RUclips algorithm for ASMR vids. (Hearing tests are a favorite.) I love how professional this is and honestly, “meeting” you for the first time adds a layer of realism because it reminds me of going in for a physical and seeing a different nurse to check my vitals before my doctor.

I know as a kid they had me do the hearing test and i heard it at every volume, the nurse was very impressed! Though i do in fact have trouble processing audio, not necessarily hearing it. Like i'll hear that something was said, but very often i'll only hear a bunch of gibberish and i've had to ask people to repeat themselves more than five times or i'll just stare blankly at them until it processes, i also usually have to have subtitles on for shows cause i'll miss what they're saying otherwise; which can make for a very frustrating day at a food service job.

@@VedaASMR Yeah it is. Especially when you have a ton of customers and it takes more time than usual to understand someone ad then you get stressed which it harder

Currently practicing medic here. I have been waiting for this role play for like 2 years at least. I so appreciate how professional you come across. It doesn't seem contrived, which happens sometimes when the ASMRtist doesn't have a medical background. This was supremely well done.

I have unilateral hearing loss in my left ear, and I turned off mono audio to get the full effect, and wow; I couldn’t hear a thing on my left side lol. I would’ve liked to hear the speech test be a bit louder, it was kind of hard for me to hear lol. Other than that it was great and pretty accurate haha. I’ve found a new channel to watch which always makes me happy :)

I can honestly say that I have had hundreds of hearing tests and ear exams and this one is definitely the best one ever! They usually are far from relaxing The real tests always have the sound of wind and the beeps as part of the test and that I certainly didn’t miss in this one.😊 Doctors will never do an ear surgery on both ears at the same time because it can cause nerve damage. At least that’s what they said at the house ear institute of Los Angeles.🤓

While in real hearing tests I've experienced since my childhood I've never been told the changing of hurts or what ear ill be tested in first. Or even had a que like a button being pressed as you're normally in a soundproof room separate from the tester or the tester has a softer touch.. This is probably one of the more accurate hearing test asmr videos I've come across in my two or three years listening to asmr. Gg
Thank you! There are a few things I did for the sake of ASMR, like explaining the frequencies, but I tried to keep it pretty realistic. I want to make a new version of this at some point.
This is the kind of asmr I prefer, the ones that seem realistic. For some reason I get stressed out when it doesn't. 🙈
