The company I was going to go through called Debt Freedom wanted to charge me $3500 in fees. It was 0% but still that 3500 was one of my ccards balances. How is that saving the customer me money .

Sounds like you made the right decision and did not move forward with their "help." Thanks for watching and best wishes to your financial future!

I wish the US had a consumer proposal program as an alternative to bankruptcy. We have the similar consumer debt issues as Canada + high medical debt to boot.

Can you explain to me the name of your Channel, ",Debt Free in 30' ? Are you mainly trying to help people with a bankruptcy, what does it mean 30 weeks or 30 months? I don't know where to find that information and it's intriguing

I think it may have to do with the time? Most of the videos seem to be around 30 minutes. Not really sure if that’s what the 30 is referring to.

It largely has to do with the business, you meet with us, in 30 minutes and we'll give a plan to become debt free. However, for the podcast, it is to help those before needing our services or can't make it to our offices. We do this weekly in approx. 30 minutes for each episode. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

Food and electric n meds are the big 3. Eat 2 meals day. Peanut butter sandwich as sack. Eat good breakfast n lunch just popcorn for supper maybe banana or apple. Cut back utilities.

I don't know your age, If you are 59 or older you may be a boomer! I might add that "Boomers" did not spend money on designer clothes, Starbucks, Internet, Gaming systems, Fancy cars, go in debt for college, eating out on regular basis! So, it is more than the economy, it is also flippant use of income!

Definitely not "flippant" use of income. ;)

You're very out of touch. Boomers didn't need smartphones or the internet to live when they were starting out. Now, even employers and government offices assume you have internet access, and a smartphone in a lot of cases.
Luckily your opinion doesn't represent all boomers 😊
