Wow the wedding really felt RUINED by her chastising. If my officiant said something like that right at the start and gave that kind of death stare I’d leave them and there. She took a lighthearted moment and made it uncomfortable.
It's also a house of God so it needs to be respected. I thought she had every right to chastise them. I'm sure if something else was said, she would have kicked them out.
