    I bought mine from indiegogo, where it’s supposed to have apps but I’ve received the same one as you. I spent hours trying to work out why I couldn’t download apps. So frustrating. I thought it was my unfamiliarness to android but thank you for clearing that up. I’m now contacting the company as I didn’t receive what I bought.

    Good Grief. Thanks for the clarification. 3 versions of this with the same name and different hardware and software combinations. Great review none the less. You hit on all the questions most people would have.

      Yeah, 3 if you count with and without the battery bank on IndieGoGo. I know that if I was confused so will others. Hopefully this helps.

      All the instructions on my box tell me it comes with a battery bank. But it doesn’t. I’m very disappointed in the supporting materials for this projector. I do like the image quality and the fine adjustments for focus. And it’s lightweight quality. But I’ve encountered nothing but problems since it arrived. I received the one without app capabilities even though I specifically chose the more expensive one on indiegogo as it said it had a smart OS that could run third party apps. Still waiting to hear back from the company.. I’m worried now since it came through indiegogo that there isn’t a safe way to get my money back if required 😢

    I would like to work with this projector, not see movies, but be able to do work on apps, my question is, what is the response time? Do you move your mouse on your phone and this movement is happening on the projector after some delay time? Can you please check it for me?

    Even though their return process has become more of a headache for expensive electronics, this kind of shadiness is why i'd rather buy through Amazon so that I can have a reasonable expectation of being able to return a device. I haven't looked into tiny projectors in a while but when it comes to the all-important picture quality it doesn't look like there has been much improvement for years.

      Oh dude If you think you're getting any sort of standardization or fact checking from Amazon you are sadly mistaken. They are really just absolutely trash. Go online sometime and look at the flashlights on Amazon lol and some of them are claiming tens of thousands of lumens. Or look at their noise making devices some of them are claiming you know 500 plus decibels which would make them louder than the loudest sound ever recorded on Earth the Krakatoa volcano eruption. At one point in time I was looking for something I can't remember what it was I'm sorry but anyway I found a model that I thought I might like and I scroll down to the reviews and they were all positive it had a very high rating but then I was reading the reviews and they were for a completely different product lol I don't know how that happened but I assume what happened was the company sold one product under a name and then quit making that product and started making something completely different and probably much shittier and just named it the exact same thing so then all of those positive reviews would show up. Anyway Amazon absolutely could police these descriptions they just don't. So seriously please do not trust what you read on Amazon do everything you can to find some other website at least to read the reviews before you purchase on Amazon. Because they do at least have fairly reasonable return policies

    Dude I would absolutely love a pocket projector. I have been searching for one for years. I actually found one that was pretty good called Qumi I think. But it seems like they're not sold in the US as I was only able to find a used one and even that was several hundred dollars. Anyway I bought it and it was beautiful, but it only worked with a remote as it had no physical buttons on it and the remote was really shitty. It broke in like 6 months So now I just have this useless projector....

    thanks for sharing! i like the projector size but 540p?? i think the aaxa pico projector from 10 years ago has a 720p native resolution. $400 for 540p is overpriced

    • @scaryifliteral
      @scaryifliteral  Год назад

      It was also less than 1/4 as bright if I'm looking at the right one. Brightness is HUGE for picture quality on these things, especially at the low end.

      @@scaryifliteral you're right, i agree with you that brightness is important. but the aaxa pico $100ish is also almost 1/4 as pricy as the yaber t1, right? im not saying that the yeber t1 is not good, it's just disappointing to be paying $400 for 540p in 2023

    Aww man, that seems like a ton of flaws for the heavy price tag. I bought an Auking projector from Amazon for $77, it was $89 plus a 15% instant coupon and it has been flawless. Crystal clear, even at 100 inches. It stays in focus, Dex works great with it. No issues at all. It's not pocket-sized, but it is pretty small. It's probably similar to the size of the box that that projector came in.

    • @scaryifliteral
      @scaryifliteral  Год назад

      You certainly pay a premium for the small size. Compared to similar projectors by Anker, it's right in line with them though. My biggest issue was their marketing.
