The way you flung Ace out of the bed 🤣 I use the frozen sliced okro when I'm lazy. I cook my okro with the heads too because I wash and just throw them into a food processor. You know we have these paper plates thing in common. I always have them at home for days I don't feel like doing dishes.
You can purchase bags at the register at Aldi OR you can grab those empty boxes from that bin to use for your groceries. Also, if you don't have a quarter for the cart just go to the cashier and they will give you a quarter for a cart. I always return the cart and then give the quarter back to the cashier once I'm done. Hope this helps 🤗
Thank you for the water tips about frozen okra. I literally saw it in the stores here in the UK for the first time and the way I jumped and grabbed it! Will be making it tomorrow. So I won’t add lots of water. I also love chunky cut Okro so I will enjoy it more …I love texture in my soup 😀 and yes I also eat the okro head. I once mistakenly added it in my soup and when I ate it I noticed there isn’t any difference between the okro head and the rest of the okro. Tastes just the same. So I always use it as part of my okro. Such a long comment about okro whew 😅

We get charged for bags now, so for me I have those big Costco bags and when I go shopping I go with them and I don’t have to buy bags , a shopping bag cost 30pence. So going with my bags I am saving some change. My kids don’t like school dinner either .😅

Coming to Europe from Nigeria some years ago it was a rude shock to me 😂. They’ll actually serve you a pastry or something on a piece of serviette. Same for the grocery store, you have to bring your own bag or you buy it. Now even the plastics bag you put fruits or veggies and weight them are also being sold in some stores. Like am I supposed to pack tomatoes in my hand and weight them one by one or what? 🙄
In Maryland, the Aldi’s requires you to pay for bags as well. I definitely use paper products all the time (cups, forks, and plates). I’m the cook, so I hate cleaning up all that stuff when I’m done. It’s challenging staying at home and taking care of a household. I work and still have to come home and manage mines-I’m tired as hell😂! Any way I can save myself some energy, I do it!😆
