Miami Dade Fire Rescue Recruit Class 139

Miami Dade Fire Rescue, a full service fire department, opens its application just once every few years. The latest, Class 139 were the first 41 applicants off of an applicant pool list of over 10,000. They are a fine group of individuals who were leaders from many walks in life.
As the 6th largest department in the United States, recruits have to come in well-trained and with a high level of flexibility and mental toughness to handle the rigors of the SOP training. This indoctrination into the Miami-Dade way of serving the community takes 14 weeks.
40/41 recruits were able to see the training through to the end and have now joined the ranks of The County's Finest with the pinning of their badges on Aug 23, 2019.
From military veterans, to an MSD hero; from collegiate and olympic athletes to American Ninja warriors the class was filled with what we believe is the cream of the crop. and ultimately we have become a familia
