Well, judging by the like/dislike ratio, this is a controversial one. Some people really seem to dislike ASMR. I enjoy some ASMR once in a while and never thought of the combination with CTC, but it makes a lot of sense! Thanks for trying something new and I even experienced ASMR when you explained the rules. Then I started my solve and I must say that I thought this one was very hard: it took me 1:00:28. Usually it takes me about 0.75-2x the video duration, so this seems like a very fast solve! Maybe it relaxes you to whisper Simon and therefore you're spotting things more quickly?! Now I'm going to watch your solve! I bet I spotted all of the logic, because it was quite a linear solve, but you were probably just very quick at spotting everything.
This video got a downvote from me. I have nothing against those that like ASMR, but for me it is like nails on chalkboard. I'm usually not anxious, but this makes me anxious. I really tried to listen through this one, but it was painful to me and thus I ended up stopping the video. No ill will, just explaining the reason behind one of those downvoted. I simply can't do it, so I don't get to experience this one.

I love the sound of his key strokes. Especially when he gets a mad flurry of numbers close to the finish... Followed by a huge release of pleasure when the puzzle has come to it's fruition... Hmm... Because whispering unnecessarily is quite annoying. I googled it and ASMR is supposed to give you some kind of sensory feeling. I get the idea that someone is petting you with there voice. Most of the results on Duckduckgo were about ASMR porn videos.

Unfortunately people who post sexual content tarnish the reputation of a community that really wants to help people with sleeping, stress or anxiety. ASMR may not be for everyone but I hope you will find something that helps you to relax.

I've been watching the two of you solve puzzles for a few months now. You blow my mind, specifically with the puzzles with all the rules and no numbers filled in.
1 year later and I reckon at least 100-200 of the views of this video are all from me. Incredibly relaxing, thank you for this, even if it’s not your cup of tea it’s wonderful to see the lengths you go to for your fans.

I agree except for the "it's cool you did this for those that asked" part. It's okay to say no when people ask you to do something you're not into or be something that you are not. Trying to impact the content of the channel to this degree is not cool. It's unbelievable that many people requested this. Who does that??
I find that Simon's usual narrative style has a natural ASMR factor to it. The calm way he speaks, pauses in between deep thought, and the monotone ticking on the keyboard reminds me of 'Blade Runner' the scene where Deckard is looking at a sequin in a microscope.
I genuinely tried but I had to give up on this video. I'm here for the solves but the whispering is just coming in the way of all the fun. I never skipped a video before, so I feel like I am missing out here.
its just a bit more controversial. A regular video you probably like otherwise you wouldnt watch a regular video. So you probably don't have much reason to dislike it. ASMR is another thing. Some people hate it and dislike it and some people are very fond of it.

Didn't watch the video due to excessive whispering, but i liked solving this puzzle a lot. The puzzle is simply brilliant. It looked impossible at the start, like there is absolutely no way to solve it whatsoever, but slowly I was able to progress bit by bit. I think this was my greatest puzzle I've ever solved.
Simon, this was a wonderful ASMR experience. There is a serious lack of male voices in ASMR. Don't worry about your keyboard noises, they are part of your videos! Thank you very much for trying this out.

I think this is very fun as a one-off. I don't get all the dislikes, if you don't like it you can just skip the video, there's plenty of others to watch. I'm not a huge ASMR fan myself, but that's just personal preference. Amazing puzzle by the way, I had a lot of fun solving it! (39 minutes for me, pretty happy with that)
Okay for people being so negative. There are millions of people that enjoy asmr and use it to help with insomnia, anxiety and depression. I totally get that it's not everyone's cup of tea but judging something you don't understand is never productive or necessary. It's really nice for this channel to fulfill this request and I'm sure the "silent" majority will enjoy this.

at first i didnt quite like it, and found it almost uncfomtable, but I then watched around 2 minutes, and now i love it! I do however think this should be on the patreon. Love you guys, you always make my day:)

I think this is very fun as a one-off. I don't get all the dislikes, if you don't like it you can just skip the video, there's plenty of others to watch. I'm not a huge ASMR fan myself, but that's just personal preference.

Okay for people being so negative. There are millions of people that enjoy asmr and use it to help with insomnia, anxiety and depression. I totally get that it's not everyone's cup of tea but judging something you don't understand is never productive or necessary. It's really nice for this channel to fulfill this request and I'm sure the "silent" majority will enjoy this.

I don't get all the negative comments. So what if it's an ASMR? This video is a one-off. They upload every day, and they will upload a perfectly normal video tomorrow. This is so comic. To me, this video is gold! hahah Plus, you get all the relaxation for free
