As a red headed child of the foster system who was later adopted me and Anne feel like kindred spirits. This book was the first place I saw myself represented in literature. ❤
I was a skinny redhead with a temper who never related to someone so much as a kid as Anne. This is beautiful and I’ve been listening during the day just to hear the story again. I would love if she did all of the books ❤
What a splendid reader you are. Please do the rest of the series. This has been a very comforting distraction and I have listened several nights before sleeping. I’ve tried to find an audio book to continue this series and the readers are high pitched and read extremely fast. Just not the same.

I've listened to this every night since it was released. I do fall asleep sometimes but go back to the last bit I remember. I'm chapter 24 now. I really hope you will consider doing book 2 as well. I read all the books as a child and throughout my teens, and as an adult. The pages are falling out of my books! Have loved listening and experiencing book 1 again

I wish I read this book when I was a child or teenager, for some reason this wonderful story wasn’t published in the Soviet, I used to work as a librarian but I never heard name L. M. Montgomery. I enjoyed every second of listening, every word, I laughed and cried. Thank you!

Can u believe I'm a 45 y/o avid reader and I have never read this classic?! I lost both of my parents this year just 2.5 months apart and yesterday my dad has been gone for 3 months and the 30th of this month my mother will be gone 6 months. The way Anne describes grief absolutely sent me bawling my eyes out. The author put into words exactly how I've been feeling. There are many reasons this is a classic!

Excellent reading, so good I don't want to fall asleep. I did puzzle, though, when she said about "Tie tee an" hair. Titian is pronounced Tish ee an". Finally had an aha moment when she mentioned the artist who painted redheads.
