      why do people talk directly to Hikaru on this channel's comments? Yall realize this is just a place where a team from chess.com port segments from his Twitch streams, right? He doesnt actually use this channel or look st its comments. It's just like how chessbrah does the same thing

      @@joedorben3504 Nonetheless, it features Hikaru, it would be weird to comment and adress the chess.com team lol. And to be honest, why does it matter? Also, how do you know this, are you 100% certain that Hikaru never skims through the comments, NEVER? Seems pretty unlikely to me.

    • @joedorben3504

      @@babedont Why would he? He has said that his team puts everything on YT and even when he won the US Championships he thanked the Twitch community, didnt even mention YT. Seems really unlikely that he would ever bother to check them tbh. For one he probably doesnt have the time to, two there's no real reason for him to. Id assume as a professional player and super GM, just about all the time he spends not streaming is on training/studying/looking at openings and games, playing online, etc or on some other hobby so as not to have his brain explode from being overloaded with chess

      @IRNjuggle28 5 лет назад +3

      There have already been a couple crazyhouse world championships on lichess, and a couple world champions who would win over 90% of games against Hikaru. Hikaru needs to play them and beat them if he wants to call himself world champion at this--he is nowhere near the level of crazyhouse specialists. A few such players are Vincent Rothuis (opperwezen on lichess, schoolmeester on chess.com), Justin Tan (JannLee on lichess, JannLeeCrazyhouse on chess.com), and Janak Awatremani. (Jasugi99 on lichess, 12teen on chess.com)

      @@BenjaminKuruga Sure it is--he was requesting a "world championship crazyhouse match" between players who are not world champions and who can't become world champions without defeating the incumbent champion. I'm informing him that there is an incumbent champion--Vincent Rothuis.

    • @BenjaminKuruga
      @BenjaminKuruga 5 лет назад

      @@IRNjuggle28 Ah, indeed. Well, in any case I'm betting if Magnus and Hikaru really cared about Crazyhouse that much they would rise to the top. Though, I doubt they'd venture THAT far out of their comfort zones since they'd have to deal with not being the best at something.

    • @robinvm4698
      @robinvm4698 5 лет назад

      @@IRNjuggle28 Those 3 would of course beat Naka in a match, but "over 90%" is a great exaggeration. He (along with Magnus) is the best tactician in the world, give him some time to master zh patterns and he will be quite competitive to top 5. I mean look at penguin.
