If u all are scared that u would choose the wrong pen for baking, u can choose to use air dry clay. Just use some acrylic paint n mix wif air dry clay to make the color u desire. Use water to blend or stick things together.

I love these little and cute pens! *.* But which brand of clay do you use? I'm using Cernit and Fimo (staedtler) and my polymer clay are a little bit flabby and sticky, I think they heat up too fast in my hands, do you have any advice for this kind of problem? :/ I love all your kawaii charms!
I use a mixture of Sculpey, Fimo and Premo mostly but I have a few other cheaper brands too! Check out my tips and tricks video because I show you some ways to get your clay less sticky :)
if you want it to be hard then yes, but if you are just using it to sit around and want to re-squish and make new things, then its better to get a kids modelling clay from the toy store, because polymer clay when its not conditioned can cause cracks and stuff
Midnight Magic ya I've had that issue as well. Using clay and paint. I've found that firmer clay for details helps because the small pieces don't get distorted
Polymer clays that you purchase at the craft store or online are meant to be baked at a low temperature in your oven (around 200 degrees -- instructions will be on each package.) As long as you follow instructions, you should be fine.
I think it's great that you shared your mistake and then told us how you fixed it -- that's part of being a very good teacher! :)

Love the idea to put polymer clay on pens. I think it is a fun way to bring your polymer clay creations into your office.

You don't really need to bake the clay you can just leave to dry for a day or night and it will give you a soft texture
