fun fact: i went to the jurassic park river adventure a few months back and funny story the ultrasaurs neck was broken and it was sinking into the water! Most submechaniphobic inducing thing ive seen in a while!
1:59 I've only been to Rain Forest Café one time. It wasn't the Hippo, but the Crocodile. If it was the Hippo, It would've given me Submech for sure, but seeing the Homie Croc brightens my day and fills me with Nostalgia.
I know most people are here because they have a fear of this but watching these videos is so relaxing to me. I love these animatronics and find them very beautiful and fascinating alongside the nice music
The Giant Squid from 'Mysteries of the Nautilus' actually has two versions, at least that I've seen. In the EuroDisney version, there's a single mechanical tentacle that first bats at the window and knocks the power out, before the main 'body' appears (the iris closes for a moment so the power can be restored, and the animatronics can be swapped out). The US version just skips right to the main body attacking the window, but it does so for a longer period and has more lights and effects to make it look more menacing.
The thing isnt even actually in water. The window is double-layered with water sandwiched between, which has bubbles to give the impression its in water. In reality its completely dry in a room behind the window.
@@orange_turtle3412 Hardly surprising. The Jaws ride basically repeated the first movie's trials of how many things can go wrong with animatronics submerged in water. (Seriously google it. The ride's been through multiple revisions over the years and removed many aspects that just couldn't hold up to daily use while submerged.). Makes sense other rides would take the lesson to devise workarounds to save on maintenance costs.
i think the ones in dark caves like 0:29 are the ones that really get me. not only are you on a narrow fucking boat that you cold fall overboard and caught in the mechanics easily, but you are in an enclosed, claustrophobia inducing space in the dark
He’s still around, a video was uploaded not long ago of someone exploring where he’s kept to this day 20 years later. He’s dusty and washed out but he honestly doesn’t look that bad.
I loved the play kwek show, kinda sad it wasted away Ofcourse in recent years they polised the attraction, but its funny how its pretty much a timecapsol if you lisented to the dialog

It's a fear of deep dirty or deep or rusted in the water

Remembering the Rainforest Café will give me nightmares. I could fall into that water in seconds. I wonder what's in the water?

SOMEONE WHO GETS ME YES
The Angler Fish scene was one of the scariest scenes in Finding Nemo, I didn't know it was part of a ride.
1:06 This shark looks real, he's not look animatronic by the realistic moves of the shark
