Nice climb, the zig zigs for me were the killer, crampons made a big difference though although wasn't as snowy as yours, could see the brickwork on the weather station. Good clear visibility, you got lucky 👍
I've just watched video.... Never doubted you'd do it mate, you're from Hull and 'ard.... Ps, watched it with sub-titles on HILLAROUS.... Must be the Hull accent....
Been watching your vids and enjoying them Mark, we are local to you(Doncaster) We are doing a similar thing but on the water, doing up a sailboat we bought. Looking forward to seeing the video about the control panel you’ve got, that’s something we could do with in the boat. Cheers Gav
IVEAVAN I was just wondering when I was doing my van sunroofs solar panels I put one of those 3/4G arial but never got the thing for the 2 wires and the SIM card I’ve been looking on eBay and can’t seem to find anything plus I have very little knowledge in these type off things it just seemed to be the right thing to do at the time while on the van roof

Interesting to see this again. You needed Yak Trax which clamp onto your shoes to give you grip walking in snow. I climbed Ben Nevis when I was 14 in 1962 and then there were no obvious footpaths. Stayed overnight prior in a barn in Glen Nevis. Yes I was in the boy scouts. We travelled by train from Norwich to Arisaig where we camped. Got a bus into Fort William and walked to the barn. Would not do that again now. Have been back since as I lived in Highlands north of Inverness a while back.
great video mark. spectacular scenery. from edinburgh myself and remember when i did the same walk there was a que to get to the top lol . been living in spain the last 15 years so scenery a bit different out here. but sierra nevadas is about an hours drive from me think thats about 12.000 feet so would be worth a visit for you.
I'm waiting for Spunky to do his video on how it works and then I can do my bit on it, but due to this lock down and what with myself being at work that's kinda slowed us down, so as yet I don't know when the video will be coming out yet bud 😉👍.
Definitely have to come to Scotland one day, hopefully in my own Iveco! Also need to go back to Norway. That place is truly cracked when it comes to views. They've drilled through large parts of it and put in tunnels, but the roads going over the mountains are still there, and even paved and in good condition; driving over all the tunnels can pay off huge when it comes to great views.
sick vid, but really shouldn't be doing anything even the tourist path without an ice axe to self arrest. If you fell and injured yourself the mountain rescue would only blame you
Get yourself across the water when this shite is finished and go up 2500 metres, feet are what you put your shoes on. Fairplay but it's just a big hill.
