This is most likely my final world record and run for this category because it wasn't supposed to be as serious as regular any%. There are still places to save time like in Uninvited and a 2:53 is achievable, but it's time to move on from from this category to something else.

God the fucking ending to Watch Dogs works so well here, the gunshot signalling the end, the relaxing music after, fuck it makes this so damn awesome! Great run!

Wow, the Japanese dialogue is so inconsistent. I understand that it’s set in Chicago so some of it being English does make sense, but when characters are swapping between English and Japanese within the same conversation it just makes absolutely no sense why it was localised that way.
They probably didn't finish it or something like that.

I can. It has something to do with the date of your account (older one is more likely to work) or if you got the complete edition on steam. I think complete edition on Steam doesn't work. Someone said that they managed to get an account before 2020 and it worked, but I'm not sure if that affects it.

I never knew changing to Japanese made the audio ques so much shorter
You did your speedrun in that time or on that date? I didn't even know Japanese was faster until 2021 or 2022, and it only saves about 13 secs over English throughout the entire run.

You can shave 30-40 ish minutes by switching to a controller for driving sections like the gta5 community does
The other runners, including the ones who use controller, crash more than me in this game. GTA V also has Franklin's ability to help with driving, but focus in this game doesn't work the same. It's all about preference anyways

It's New Game. I'm running the New Game + category, which means that I get to use stuff from previous playthroughs like cash runs.

Yes, Japanese is the fastest for the any% speedrun.
Why’d you switch the difficulty to realistic then back to easy?
I get the cops faster on higher difficulty, but realistic is slower if I use it for the rest of the run

@@deadacc637 I have both and it works on both, but I play mostly/do runs on Steam. Game ran well on my 1070 ti and 4070 ti

There isn't an official one in the game, but some stuff like cash runs can carry over after a new game.

@@blackgold754 Yeah, I don't have to create them during the run for this category. I can basically teleport anywhere I want.
