Ww 644 down the Main Trunk Line!

Over Friday the 14th, and Saturday the 15th of April, Ww 644 ventured the Trunk once again to Te Awamutu for a KiwiRail Charter, the train ran empty from Glenbrook - Hamilton, then carried invited KiwiRail officials from Hamilton to Te Awamutu for a special event. The train returned to Glenbrook on Sunday the 16th due to a signal failure near Ngaruawahia. if you watch right through the video, there is something special at the end! 😉
A huge thanks to TheKiwian Trainspotting for giving me his audio for the Fisher Road shot at 2:15 , as I forgot to turn on my mic.
