The reason why Hobgoblin looked like a demon, was because back in Inferno which was a Marvel crossover from 1988-89, the Hobgoblin asked a demon lord to give him the power of a demon when he couldn't get the goblin formula that gave Norman Osborn his power as the Green Goblin. However the demon that was bonded to him was also trying to take him over and then they splited and Demogoblin was born.

The Hobgoblin looked a bit like the Demogoblin in this one.

I made better then that with the Spiderman Cartoon Creator CDROM, lol.
They should make an upgraded version of this, maybe on xbox 360 or wii, and use the team thats doing the spectacular Spiderman cartoon. At least we'll know the animation and voices won't suck.
