I sometimes think to myself if I had been there I would have tried to stop him because I know I DONT deserve his mercy but I also have to accept the fact that he did die for me even though I know I truly don't deserve it. I will say though that I am truly grateful 🙏 for his sacrifice for not only myself but also my enemies. It's the hardest thing to do as a Christian ✝️ to pray for your enemies 🙏 and even though that is hard to do in this day and age do it anyways and I promise you the lord will bless you however it will not always be when you want it to happen. I've known, and played many songs in my life. None has ever moved me like this song. My Mom asked me to learn it. She had recorded it off of the radio, this same performance. It was very difficult to perform and I almost gave up, but persisted and learned to play it. Mom never got to hear me perform it, but I do on certain occasions. Gospel was my roots, the first songs I learned to play in a Pentecostal Church. Warning: this uses the G word and the J word.
