Very fair offer from a genuine guy, car needs full service, alloys refurbed and scuff sorted plus valet, for £4k and a hassle free sale with no comeback, should have been a no brainer.
Mot history is littered with tyres worn close to limit and brakes, clearly not well looked after. Not surprising if you have to pay £3k a year to insure that 🤣
Liams in for a long wait, there’s millions of eco boost fiestas out there probably ones that have had the oil changed and not had the arse ragged out of it. Should of took the 4K pal.
I was expecting a £3000 offer. I would’ve bitten his hand off at £4K!! Bear in mind it has damage on the bumper and wheels, a 2 year gap in the service history, just over a month MOT left and outstanding finance which would put a lot of people off when buying off someone’s driveway. One of the biggest sticking points when trying to strike a deal is that people think they’ll get retail money for their px. Hope he manages to get the right money for his car 🙏🏻 Love the vids mate. Keep it up 👍👍👍

£4k fair play that's a cracking offer considering to get the car ready for sale Calvin would need to service & MOT it. Plus get the wheels and bumper sorted. I'd have bitten his hand off.
Liams living in a dreamland, should of taken calvins offer and cleared his finance, he’ll never get £3K let alone an offer of £4K, deluded inexperienced young man.
I really liked the car till he said he hadn’t serviced it for 20k definitely not a good way to keep cars expecially an EcoBoost which is known for issues with lack of maintenance , tbh Calvin probably offered too much wouldn’t have paid more than 3.5k , Calvin you’ve probably dodged a bullet anyway with this one 😂
At 21 I can insure an M135i for 2k which is nearly half what he's insuring this 1.0L for at 20. Holy Moly. Not servicing for a whole 2 years is just outrageous. 4k is generous.
I have the red edition, so it’s basically exactly the same car, I’m also 20 and don’t have any of my parents on it and insurance costs me £650 a year and no blackbox😂 he must loads of points on his licence!😂
If I were Calvin I would retract the offer and actually charge him for being featured on his channel. He offered a fantastic trade price for his car. The boy came on for some publicity to sell his car because he didn't have any luck on eBay and probably asking too much considering he's probably hammered it in the time he's had the car and the lack of servicing the car during his ownership proves he doesn't look after his cars. I have a feeling whoever buys his car will have a long list of repairs down the line.
As a dealer I wouldn’t touch a kids ragged car with a barge pole tbh, no service tatty and common he’s lucky he was offered more than three grand to be honest.
Wouldn’t be a smart move to service that Fiesta now ready for the next owner, considering it’s overdue a service anyway ? That, the asking price and the short MOT is pushing most potential buyers away hence why it’s still not sold. £4K is a very generous offer from Cal ... most traders would be maxed out @ £3K I recon.
Nice and Honest with the Lad there Calv nice to see how trade works so people can see what to expect in real world. And he now has a back up pain i personally would of sold it to you
Calv a fair offer to be fair. It made me think that in your trade that there's a fine line between making a profit and helping someone out. In this case you may not have made anything other than flipping quick but then there's the servicing and other costs to factor in before you sell it on. I felt sorry for the lad though. I suspect that after he has paid the finance off on the car he needed the rest to help him with the van he bought.
That's a brave offer £4k!! I Would have Biden your hand off to be honest £300 over book a front bumper to repaint Wheel refurbishment Service and mot to sell it I think the reason he's not getting it sold is because A. not many young kids have 5k kick in around plus another 2k+for insurance. B. Parents don't have it either right now. C. it's way to expensive and needing work on top
The poor thing is neglected, been mapped, hasn’t been serviced in 20k miles and it’s on 65k, scuffed up bumber, curbed wheels, sounds rashy and the guy wants 5k. Won’t even get 2k. Calvin was being generous 😂
Why would anyone tune a 1.0 litre 3 cylinder Ecoboost and lose its best selling point as an economical first car? The tuning company should not have taken his money to tune a car that you can never get enough improvement to make it worth tuning. Calvin’s offer was generous and he is foolish not to take it as its value is only going one way.
Shocking insurance cost. I remember when i was his age in 1990 just started on the road i paid around £250 fire & theft on my own insurance with no bonus for a vauxhall chevette 1256cc lol. Easier for thieves to steal cars in them days of course, no immobilsers as standard etc. Goes to show how insurance companys are fleecing the young uns these days.
No way is it worth 5k. Its not been serviced for two years its its obviously been ragged or why else would you remap a 1 litre and plus his target buyer will probably be young and it will be there first car so they wouldn't be able to afford the insurance . Should of took Calvin's offer.
The 1l ecoboost gets a bad reputation because young people get them and have no mechanical sympathy when driving and even remap the already busy 125 or 140ps engine variants.
I think I see you’ve got a heated steering wheel, on the new wheel you’ve got, does it still work with the heating element? Was thinking of getting a new steering wheel, but not if it doesn’t work with the heating
