- This Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Deck is impossible to beat when the entire board is set up. I mean then again I could always draw Harpie Feather Duster or Raigeki, BUT OF COURSE THAT NEVER HAPPENS!

The reason there's bias when you play a deck and not seereax or doto is they play more chill and have most of all cards be themed around the deck rather then the best cards be half there deck although you're still fun to watch as the villain

The difference between you using skill drain and what buster blader does, is buster blader needs multiple cards to set up a combo which is much more vulnerable. You do what rheax's entire deck does with a single card, then vfd, numeron dragon, ect.
Buster lets you use your effects though
vfd and numeron won't be able to use their effects tho
Also... you would need to draw skill drain. And not have it get popped,

@@user-yw6fb8us7j let's put it this way... there are multiple on theme ways to search the buster blader cards, and just getting a dragon in the grave, any dragon... you can summon buster dragon, and the destruction sword fusion. As your opponent is setting up their field. So you make them waste a bunch of resources for what is just a punching bag for your swordsman... and you have the destruction swords that: Stop on continuous spells and traps, monster effects in the grave... and stop extra deck summons, god help you if you are playing a dragon deck

i think i have to watch seereax and dotto for master duels at least they try to use different decks. Also what i don't mind seeing in yugioh is seeing the lore of how they became to be and then got put into a kids card game. That would be a cool show to watch like each episode is different. As the only monsters we got a good story on is the legendary 3 dragons and the knights and blue eyes and the 2 dark magicians.
I especially like Sophia/Tierra/Avidia's lore arcs

There's a bias against when you use a deck vs when Seereax or Doto because they go all in on the deck. Doto/Seereax is 100% willing to play different decks. I think people mostly get tired of Blue Eyes all the time really.

Buster Blader is STILL one of my unsung go-to decks. Maybe not meta but still pretty good imo.

Buster Blader is my favorite deck to use in PVP atm, yea sure there is better decks but the fun and nostalgia of BB is too good to pass up!

Every time I watch these videos about Blue-Eyes vs Buster Blader I can't stop similing at the fact that while you 2 are playing these 2 decks against each other (and in ranked too) I'm, instead, playing "Blue-Eyes Buster Blader" as my main fun deck because of the sinergies that (ironically) these 2 archetypes share💙
(Cuz yes, for those who don't know, "Blue-Eyes Buster Blader" was an actual hybrid deck in the tcg during late 2016/early 2017).

The breaks of shadow set is what brought me back to yugioh. As a huge buster blader fan, and finding out that it became an archetype blew my mind and drew me back into the game. I instantly knew it was gonna be huge at some point. Always updating it for the format

I was honestly convinced of the necessity for things like Skill Drain after playing online for awhile. I love using Blue-Eyes, Skull Servant, Superheavy Samurai, Red-Eyes, recently tried out Sacred Beasts too, but the meta game is not nice to a majority of those decks. It kinda speaks to my issue with Yu-Gi-Oh as a whole when I run into 15 Drytron or Tri-Brigade or whatever before you can actually play a good game, at least skill drain makes one or two of those duels more interactive.
@@KaseyC. Oh I'm not, I was just listing decks I liked. I only run skill drain in Red-Eyes and Blue-Eyes decks. Skull Servant is the best deck I have, love those spooky bois. I actually run it with Eldlich in there just so I can sometimes summon the king and not let it be destroyed without also needing the Lady in Wight.
@@KaseyC. I can send my whole decklist if you want but I basically run a 60 card deck with Grass is Greener, Eldlich, Danger Beasts and a couple of other random zombie support cards (like Mezuki). It's sometimes a little inconsistent but I can usually get an OTK off and mill out about half my deck even without Grass is Greener.

I mean, yeah, you play a much more effective villain Rhymestyle. You're braggadocios, salty, and arrogant and it makes it *real* easy to think you're a bullying asshole. You play your part *too* well. When Doto and Deon duel, even at their most "evil", they're both just too fucking goofy for it to feel serious. They break character all the damn time. You don't, you commit to the bit, to your own detriment.
Amusingly that'd make you great at something like World of Darkness, Dungeon World, or D&D (and I'd love to see you all play a TTRPG together some time because it'd be goofy as fuck) but I think it just earns you hate from the comments at times.
EDIT: Also you play decks that might survive the meta and, at least in Doto's case, I'm not sure that ever even registers as a thing he should do. Which makes it seem a little like punching down. Marry that to the villian-act being so well done?
Nah, it’s not really that. That’s what makes him fun to watch in these versus duels, it creates a nice dynamic between the duelists. It’s completely his decks. Skill drain in basically all of the decks is the fucking worst, “Slifer deck” which was actually Numeron turbo, not to mention that inferno tempest stall deck. Also, you can only watch so much of blue eyes duels, it get’s boring after some time.

RHYM you could've won if you xyz summoned cipher dragon instead of destroying it with alternative 13:46. You could've taken his buster blader on your side and used his card for another xyz or something

Actually, there are a lot of possible combos when you XYZ summon Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon which can turn the tables in a duel. I am also using the Cipher deck for now since I don't have the other galaxy deck, but it is very powerful with just a little modification. That's why I love the Cipher deck. In this duel with the XYZ summoning of the Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon, it can really turn the table like the Cipher Interfere combo and it can OTK depending on a situation.

Can the buster dragon be used in any other deck besides dragons.
I actually don't mind flood gates, yes they are annoying, but much like most of the game if you have the cards to get rid of them then it doesn't become an issue.
Although I'm not sure if king of calamity can be stopped if you negate it before it activates it's effect.

I played Blue-eyes vs Buster Blader once. The only reason I won was because my version of Blue-eyes is a hybrid deck with Shaddolls and I was able to use Schism to send Buster Blader to the Graveyard and destroy the Buster Lock. That duel was so weird and hard to play around but I got the W.
