So true! All Google NotebookLM AI. Good way to monetize us and make some easy cash, and hide behind a fake persona. But that's now a thing for everything, from vTubers, and such. Thanks for picking up on it quickly to make sure people aren't suckered into just subscribing to an AI bot. If someone's not willing to put in the work and actually present the content, then just send me the link and I'll read about it myself. This is lazy work.

This is Amazon playing catch-up with other companies *cough* kobo * cough* Might i also add for this "new" tech that's only "new" for Amazon, other companies provide the same tech for way cheaper. I would say the only thing that sounds new is being able to search your notes with AI and getting AI summaries. That does sound like a worthwhile upgrade. But it's also a firmware feature that'll be coming to the other Scribes. So you could just wait until after release date, when all the 1st Gen Scribe users will be putting theirs on eBay, and get one then. The Colorsoft, though, makes no sense to me. From what I've seen, it's just the same Kaleido 3 display that's been on other color ereaders for a while. They're not bringing anything new to the game, and they're charging a lot more for it.
